  1. I would say yes when it becomes blatantly obvious they can cope with the pace of the game. Being proven to cope with the pace of the Premier league assures less risk. I swear we had this same argument two years ago when people were advocating cheaper options in Regulion and Tagliafico over Chilwell. Tuchel so far has been faultless when it comes to the defence so when he wants his players in, you simply have to trust him. Of all those options at least 90% of them aren't good enough.
  2. And who is available that is proven in the PL along with having metrics suitable for our system?
  3. I will not, repeat, will not endure another season with Alonso at LWB. Sorry, just not going to happen.
  4. Any experts out there can explain to me how we are able to achieve this and comply with FFP? @Vesper?
  5. It's only a 2 year deal which isn't terrible. I think Azpilicueta renewing solves the 2nd CB issue. We will still go for a third, presumably Fofana.
  6. That makes no sense and puts Brighton in a fragile position moving forward as they will be known to change goal posts. They had a valuation on Cucurella, we met it and reliable journalists are saying it’s signed. They want us to work with them on Colwill as good gesture, however we are only looking for the best interest for ourselves. Did Brighton give us a discount on Cucurella? No, they didn’t. We owe them nothing.
  7. Why? We are paying the full valuation on Cucurella. Why should Brighton dictate how we should sell or loan Colwill?
  8. Gary Neville - "I worry for Chelsea. They need a massive rebuild" Also Gary Neville - "Their owner seems to be playing football manager. They are always in the media and some of the decisions are very panicky".
  9. There is thankfully. https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1554899807017357314?ref_src=twsrc^tfw|twcamp^tweetembed|twterm^1554899807017357314|twgr^217578a7bb2393c78f69749f7bc48c723fbbaf7f|twcon^s1_c10&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fs9e.github.io%2Fiframe%2Ftwitter.min.html1554899807017357314
  10. Yup. This was a bigger issue for me than the attack.
  11. We won the biggest prize in football with 5 atb. But I get your point. We need to be more proactive against some opposition to finish higher up the table. Not sure if this is down to the system mind.
  12. Reports Brighton declined our offer is fake.
  13. So Brighton just another Sevilla then? Constantly moving goal posts?
  14. There are Villa fans saying he is the best youth product they've produced in over 20 years...
  15. Exactly. He is essentially another Bellingham. We've allegedly been scouting him for a while.
  16. Could be the next Bellingham. Apparently one of the most talented VIlla youth players in quite a while.
  17. And vice versa their defence. When Dias and Cancelo are out of the team, they struggle.
  18. Not sure if there is anyone realistically available in attack that improves us. De Jong is a possibility but obviously we are not going to address everything in one window. Best to address the actual backbone of our system.
  19. Is it overkill? Last season we saw an inexperienced Chalobah prone to errors at the latter end of the season. We saw arguably the worst CB to ever put on a Chelsea kit in Sarr who was a calamity waiting to happen. We saw Azpilicueta prone to errors towards the latter end of the season given he can't keep up with the pace of the game anymore. We saw Alonso being Alonso whilst Chilwell was out of the esason. We saw James overplayed and injury stricken. For me, this has to happen.
  20. Considering it is the backbone to our system thriving, understandable.
