  1. Werner---Haaland Pulisic----Havertz---Dybala----Ziyech Chilwell-----Kante-------Dave Silva Donnarumma
  2. Why are Pulisic and Ziyech unlikely to start? They are both declared fully fit and have been eager to play? Mount at LW followed by Dave at LB is just nauseating to think about. We failed to beat Saints at the Bridge last season because we couldn't convert. And you want to start that? I also refuse to believe Silva can't get over a 5 hour jet lag in the span of 3 days. Liverpool's success is built on familiarity and a consistent starting XI. Why are we finding any excuse to prevent this from happening? Oh, its just Southampton.
  3. Good to have them back but now both Chilwell and Kante looking unlikely. One step forward. Two steps back.
  4. Makes sense...... Werner---Haaland Pulisic------Havertz----Ziyech Kante
  5. Gimenez maybe. But Haaland? What's Romano basing that on?
  6. All 20 clubs voted against the new proposal. Meaning Liverpool and United voted against their own proposal...
  7. Think it will happen unless one of the two magically regains form. There is no way Lampard rates either. Can't see it myself.
  8. Again, we have bulked our attack and polished our backline. We should not be in those situations anymore. If we enter the game not taking the initiative and looking out of pace against Saints at home, this isn't something you can blame on Kepa.
  9. Sorry, not having any of that. If we drop points, it isn't solely down to Kepa. Pulisic and Ziyech should be ready. We've injected so much money into our attack that we should be outscoring the majority of our opposition. We've also polished our back line so if we can't beat Saints, at HOME, this will be more down to Lampard than Kepa.
  10. We should still be comfortably beating Saints at home, bearing no more injuries.
  11. Could be a thigh contusion, or dead leg. If treated properly he could be back by next week.
  12. So why select him if he isn't fit?
  13. Ole and United will undoubtedly resort back to the shitehousery that worked last season.
  14. Training is going to be a bit packed...
  15. I would agree. The goals we have conceded so far this season, that weren't a result of individual errors, were players merely ball watching and not marking properly. 2 of which are liabilities and one is still very young. James+Alonso - West Brom James - Liverpool (down to 10 men though) Emerson - Spurs
  16. Dave. His and Silva's experience and leadership will help us loads I reckon.
  17. Could this be the very game we see our true starting XI? Fingers crossed and knocking on wood. Mendy Azpilicueta--Silva--Zouma--Chilwell Kante--Jorginho Ziyech----Havertz----Pulisic Werner
  18. I think without a defensive, holding midfielder, this team will always show a glaring weakness in midfield.
  19. Partey will be an excellent signing for them. He will give them at least 5 years of quality.
  20. Because Jorginho is an actual holding midfielder.
  21. Looking forward to Sheffield United miraculously finding form the moment they play us.
  22. You can't man mark him. He was everywhere. His hold up play is excellent and his technical ability on the ball is very good for his age. He brushes past players at times with his dribbling. You can still see he needs to fully adjust to the pace of this league. The fact he can only get better from here, despite the glimpses we've seen so far, is promising.
