  1. Juve still being investigated for Pjanic so not sure they can do swaps
  2. Not really. Much like Barca media, they are known for exaggerating the truth. If you read the article, they want to use cash + Pavard for De Ligt as they cannot afford his valuation. Per Matt Law, De Ligt wants to join us. As things stand at least. What we should be doing is trying to secure this deal ASAP.
  3. The BILD article states Bayern want to use Pavard + cash for De Ligt. Juve won't ever consider that.
  4. You avoided my question. Why are we wasting weeks in negotiating fees with clubs when personal terms are not agreed? Who is Matte Moretto? You realise the bloke that broke the Mane rumors is saying Bayern and De Ligt want one another? How long have we been after de Ligt? 3-4 weeks? It is quite telling if Bayern managed to change his viewpoint in a matter of hours. This whole argument is moot but evidence will be here to see on which members were right and who were wrong. Best of all, it will give us a clear indication of just what type of owner Boehly is.
  5. So if Raphinha wants to join Barcelona and de Ligt Bayern, why are we negotiating with these parent clubs, for weeks, on a bid when the players don't want to join? Why are we not agreeing terms before hand when we knew they were available, as we have done in the past?
  6. How long should I wait? When will your excuses run out? 1. Transfer window just opened. 2. It's only June. 3. It's only July 4. Its only Preseason. 5. It's only the start of the season. 6. Winter transfer window just opened. 7. It's only Mid January. We know nothing about Boehly and how he will handle business. What we can evaluate is what we have seen thus far, which is a continuous failure of getting deals over the line. If he was going to have this much trouble in the window, I reiterate, the decision to get rid of the boardroom now vs end of August is a premature decision.
  7. I'm not going to stand in the corner with my dick in my hand pretending everything is going to be all fine and lean on blind faith that our new owner is going to have us compete again. If you choose to by all means go for it. You're stance virtually means nothing when we don't truly know what Boehly is capable of, and all we've seen so far is a continuous failure to get deals over the line. If Boehly wasn't prepared to enter the market himself then the decision to get rid of the boardroom was premature. Simple.
  8. It is amusing how some claim they don't rate de Ligt whilst at the same time bring up Bremer (who is awful on the ball) and Skriniar (who is slower than de Ligt) as alternatives.
  9. Do you really expect us at this point to secure any deal? Skriniar will prefer PSG without a doubt given how we have been behaving.
  10. Boehly really is taking the piss if all this is true. Focusing on Ronaldo when we should be getting Sterling and de Ligt over the line.
  11. We can panic once one of Ornstein or Romano report it.
  12. I doubt there is serious interest unless Tuchel is actively pushing for it. United would obviously prefer to sell him abroad. Again, out of both of them I think we'd likely peruse Neymar.
  13. If given the option think we all would.
  14. Ronaldo won't make us title contenders but he for me could've been the difference in both cup finals against Liverpool.
  15. Thought for a second he was taking what ever Goretzka did...
  16. Cheers thought it was the other way around. Wouldn't mind Ronaldo on penalties tbf. Which Lukaku could never do, hence the out roar in his signing. His limitations on the ball is ultimately the reason he's successful in only one system. Not saying Ronaldo will be perfect but his ability on the ball makes him a better bet he will fair better under Tuchel than Lukaku. Also ignoring the glaring obvious Ronaldo is a drastically superior finisher.
  17. What held Lukaku back though, primarily, was his ability (or lack of) on the ball. Ronaldo may not press but we can't deny his ability on the ball.
