  4. NUFC want 150m+ quid for Isak I see very little chance they would take less than £130m or so pass on Kolo Muani, btw with Lautaro having a meh year you could make a case that Isak or Gyökeres (who turns 27 in just 5 months) is the 2nd best under 30yo striker atm after Håland (Kane and the ageless Lewa are still in the top 5 to 7 overall) the only others remotely in discussion at that level (or nearly there) are Julián Alvarez and Victor Osimhen Samu, Sesko, and Duran still need to show a couple more seasons to get there I would say Marcus Thuram turns 28yo this summer and no chance Inter will sell him with Lautaro struggling, IMHO wild card is Omar Marmoush wild wild card is Delap João Pedro, Matheus Cunha, and Victor Boniface would be expensive dice rolls still not sold on Hugo Ekitiké, and Watkins is too old (turns 30yo mid-seaons next) for what Villa would demand Jonathan David would come on a free, so I am fine with that

  6. no, no it is not even Pool, if they win the next game and duplicate their first half points on the 2nd half of the season, will end up on 96 We will play a lot of good teams (some in better form than they started out with) in the 2nd half, THAT is where thsoe dropped points will likely bite us in the arse Let's say we beat Ipswich. That is 38 points in 19 games. 76 in toto if we produce the same amount in 2nd half. Let's say we do NOT equal our first half total. Lets say we produce 33 points. 71 total. Due to so many bad teams and so many good teams, that could be on the edge of losing out on CL. IF we lose to Ipswich, it is then a dire trend we are setting up, as we will be tracking to only 70 points IF we duplicate the 1st half, and say, 65 in toto if we produce 5 points less in the 2nd half versus the 1st. Dropping so many points against poor teams is NOT a good trend at that point.

  9. number one, it doesnt matter that we are not in the CL in terms of challegening for the title I also have never once this season claimed we are good enough to win the title Pool are simply too good (and I removed the 2 1 loss as a dropped point gainst them) I also have NEVER (since I joined this board, and before that) claimed we are a 100 point side, only ONE EPL team ever (Citeh, 2017-18) tallied 100 points only 5 have earned 95 or more (and 4 of the 5 happened in a 3 season span 2017-2020) very few teams even have talled 90 (14 ever) EPL teams with the most points in a single season: 100 points Manchester City, 2017-18 99 points Liverpool, 2019-20 98 points Manchester City, 2018-19 97 points Liverpool, 2018-19 95 points Chelsea, 2004-05 93 points Manchester City, 2021-22 93 points Chelsea, 2016-17 92 points Liverpool, 2021-22 92 points Manchester United, 1993-94 91 points Manchester City, 2023-24 91 points Chelsea, 2005-06 91 points Manchester United, 1999-2000 90 points Manchester United, 2008-09 90 points Arsenal, 2003-04 I do not care how you spin it, those draws were massive fails, we should have won them all, watching the games, plus blowing the game and losing againbst FULHAM at the Bridge, an event that had not happned since the 1970s sorry, but I refuse to say 'oh well, shit happens'
  10. never said a thing about being robbed
  11. erm, watching the games, real time title winning teams do not have that many dropped points (and in less than half a season) against poor sides EOS I will not be convinced otherwise
  12. Pool also have have TEN national team captains or vice captains
  13. the last 2 EPL games were horror results no way to sugarcoat it removing the Pool loss (that we easily could have drawn IMHO) it is still 11 points dropped from games we should have won 9 if you accept a draw with Fulham at the Bridge (which I do not) should have won should have won, especially with their red card should have won should have won should have won
  14. he is a super athlete look at the bloke just ripped and tireless this is him this last off-season
