Disagree. Bernardo is the main creator for Monaco, and all of those things you said apply directly to Silva as well, and he is a significantly better passer and dribbler than Lemar. Like i said before, the only thing Lemar has on Silva is his speed and FK ability. Also, their goal output is extremely similar, i think Bernardo has 7 goals and Lemar has 8, something like that. Also, this height thing is absolutely not necessary for a winger, an argument could be made for a FB, but a winger's duty is not to win headers

You are underrating Bernardo MASSIVELY, this season he has been the best player in ligue 1 a league that has most posters wet dream of a player Verratti, and he is much more than just a dribbler, he is a terrific playmaker,he has an unbelievable work rate, and although his stats are not as big as they could be his impact goes far beyond goals and assists, the people underrating him now are the people that would be crying for him If he joins another team, same thing that happened to Dybala. Bernardo is worth every penny of the 80M we are reportedly willing to pay

To me, Silva is a much better player. The only areas that Lemar beats Silva IMO is speed( Though Silva is also fast) and Free kicks. Silva is a better dribbler, playmaker and passer of the ball, when i watch Mônaco play, Silva is almost always the best player on the pitch, and thats not even mentioning the fact that his favorite position is on the RW, a position that we would probably be buying him for, while Lemar usually plays on the left for Monaco. Thats not a slight on Lemar though, who himself is a Very good player, but If It comes between choosing one of them, i would take Bernardo 10/10

Thats the main thing, but the reason i want us to move so bad for him during the summer, its because this will be our only chance to sign him, he is at a stage where, he will leave Monaco in the summer and join one of the best clubs in the world, we wont have another window of opportunity to get a player as good as him, while in midfield, IMO there are more options we could pursue, and honestly while i agree with you that Matic is a limited player, him and Kante have done a really good job this season, and having Fabregas on the bench gives us a great rotational option and a different approach depending on where we are standinh during a match, and thats not even mentioning our midfield prospects like Baker for example.So while i do agree with you that we should be pursuing a midfielder,i disagree that a player like Silva would make less diference than a midfielder, unless that player is a midfielder like Verratti, who IMO is unattainable

Personally, i think midfield is one of the positions i wouldnt put as urgent, if we were to sign only 3 players i would sign Raphael guerreiro, Nelson Semedo and Bernardo Silva, LWB, RWB and RW

If we sign Nelson Semedo, Naby Keita, Bernardo Silva and Raphael Guerrero we go from the best team in England tô the top 4 in Europe IMO

The game today highlights why we need that extra bit of quality, having a Guy like him would really relieve the pressure a bit from Hazard, Pedro and Willie are good, but they dont worry the opposition as much as a Guy like Silva would
