  1. Hope to see Hazard, Marin and de Bruyne. Our new, young, midfield wizards. This game will be great. Seattle has a fantastic atmosphere and big fan base. This will be a legit away match.
  2. I refuse to let a pre-season game be my first experience seeing Chelsea Football Club. I'll see them at Stamford Bridge, thank you very much. Hopefully that will happen for me next spring. I'm saving up for it now.
  3. Is this going to be the only season review DVD?
  4. I'm so sick of this crap about beautiful football and we didn't deserve it. Ya know what, if Bayern or Barca didn't like the way we were playing, they could have played our game, sat back themselves and let us have the ball. That would have spaced out our midfield and back line potentially leading to defensive vulnerabilities. But they didn't. Fair play to us for playing our game and winning the fuckin' European Cup.
  5. Is anybody else having some kind of withdrawal? I just want to go back to that moment when Didier Drogba made us European champions. The euphoria and high that produced was unreal. Jumping up and down, screaming, crying, hugging anyone you ran into (even if they didn't want it), taking a victory shot (vodka in honor of our owner), then just hanging out with your fellow CFC lads at the bar talking about what had just happened. It's all so unreal, and yet tomorrow I have to get up and go to work like nothing happened...
  6. I just saw that next season's Champions League Final is at Wembley. Anyone up for a repeat?!? :blue scalf:
  7. Oh shit! Thanks for the correction. Can't believe I forgot about that.
  8. Amazing that by the end of 2012 we might just add 3 MORE trophies, 2 of which we've never won. Community Shield, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup.
  9. Anyone who lifts the Champions League trophy deserves it. Any complaining about how we got it are just sore losers. That's all there is to it. The game isn't decided by possession or corners won. It's decided by goals.
  10. Lamps has earned it. What a legend. I busted a gut when i saw that.
  11. Good luck, young Ryan. I support the decision, but man does that lad have to be nervous.
  12. Bertrand will always be a risky move because of his inexperience, but I really like what I've seen from him, even going forward. If he does get the start, I will support it and hope for the best.
  13. Not if Malouda is injured. I'd rather have Bertrand there than Torres. He's going to have some important defensive duties against their quality wingers and midfield. I don't trust Torres to do that job. Leave Torres on the bench to sub for Drogba if needed.
  14. Wow, mate. No way does Torres start over Drogba. Drogba has been world class for us in the biggest games this season. This is almost certainly his last game with Chelsea. He gets the start.
  15. We are going to keep our same shape and general tactics that we've shown under RDM. That means Drogba will need to score and Luiz/Cahill will have to play the game of their life. They are going to attempt getting the ball to Gomez any way they can and our center backs need to stop him.
  16. No, he's pretty much right on. I will be having a restless night of sleep.
  17. This whole affair has the vibe of a grand climax for this club. A final chapter for this era of Chelsea FC. For these guys to go out on top would mean the world to anyone associated with Chelsea. I hope we get to celebrate tomorrow.
  18. Whatever happens tomorrow, this has been a hell of a ride. Good luck tomorrow lads! KTBFFH
  19. I am going nuts for this game. It's all I can think (and dream) about. COME ON YOU BLUES!!!!!
  20. Every night I pray for the fitness of Cahill and Luiz. If those guys aren't fit, we are fucking screwed.
  21. Let's lift another cup tomorrow, lads! Carefree...
  22. We can only hope that our regular forward players are relishing a chance to actually attack and score. They haven't had that chance since Wembley.
  23. It is just a tabloid from Munich, but I really hope both clubs do this. Maybe, just maybe UEFA would see reason. If they intend to change the rule, and both teams would be rewarded with 3 players each being made eligible, and the game (and thus ratings) would be improved, only a body completely daft would refuse. And since it's UEFA, no way in chance they do it.
  24. Yeah, you'd hope we'd take advantage and just destroy QPR, but the way our PL season has been it'd be 1-1 with an equalizer given up between the 82nd and 88th.
