  1. IIRC he said in an interview that he'll sign a contract extension when he turns 18. We'll know his decision soon enough.
  2. April fool's in that case ... but yea it's an aggregator not bothered by quality.
  3. Mueller isn't exactly a convential striker (he provided the 2nd most assists in the BuLi and that's why he got a mention) ... why don't you compare KDB to Junuzovic, the second-most creative BuLi player, with a pass success percentage that's even below 70%? For a Wolfsburg player KDB's pass success percentage is what you'd expect it to be ... if KDB was a Leverkusen player his pass success percentage would probably drop (e.g. Bellarabi 65% or Calhanoglu 67%) ... if he was a Bayern player, most likely it would go up. Next season we can judge KDB's performances in the Champions League ... I'm betting his pass success percentage will be over 80%. IMAO the solidity fetish is reaching perverse levels
  4. Do you like forward thinking players or is it a safe back pass that makes you jump out of your seat? Among the top BuLi players for assists KDB comes off well ... Mueller (71%; a pass success percentage lower than that of KDB) isn't nearly as constructive as KDB while Bayern have the highest pass accuracy in the BuLi, Junuzovic's pass success percentage is even below 70%, etc. PS KDB's pass success percentage was over 80% in the EL and during the Brazil2014 campaign.
  5. Any truth to this ... https://sports.vice.com/article/gun-wielding-teammate-has-two-of-turkeys-top-soccer-players-afraid-to-play-for-national-team
  6. So far KDB has provided 26 assists ... according to kicker.de - 18 in 27 Bundesliga matches (and 9 goals) - 2 in 3 DFB-Pokal matches - 6 in 10 Europa League matches (and 5 goals) That's 40 (assists or goals) in 40 matches. Edit: Misimovic provided 20 assists in 33 Bundesliga matches ... almost there, Kevin
  7. He was looking into a transfer to Juve ... now he's claiming that they can't afford Lukaku.
  8. Reportedly Drogba will move to Anderlecht  http://www.voetbalnieuws.be/news/175729/Drogba_op_weg_naar_Jupiler_Pro_League
  9. OK then ... Courtois to win the Ballon d'Or ... 0 goals, 0 assists
  10. This article is a decent read ... stats, like perception, aren't everything either ... still it was a nice surprise that Lukaku comes off well.
  11. 24 assists (after the Inter - VfL tie): - 16 in 25 Bundesliga matches (and 9 goals) - 2 in 3 DFB-Pokal matches - 5 in 10 Europa League matches (and 5 goals) ... and 1 in 3 EURO2016 Qs (and 2 goals)
  12. I could keep adding more and more names ... Lukaku wouldn't be the only player on that list that's starved of service ... Everton’s form as a whole has given him a great disservice.
  13. Bad control per game: Lukaku: 1.8 Aguero: 1.9 Kane: 1.9 Austin: 2.0 Sanchez: 2.2 Sterling: 2.2 Berahino: 2.3 Costa: 2.3 Perception is everything?
  14. Bad control per game: Lukaku: 1.8 Sterling: 2.2 Costa: 2.3 Perception is everything?
  15. Including Wolfsburg v Inter, it's 21 assists so far this season (and 13 goals): - 15 in 24 Bundesliga matches (and 8 goals) - 2 in 3 DFB-Pokal matches - 4 in 9 Europa League matches (and 5 goals) Did I miss any goals?
  16. That's 20 assists so far this season: - 15 in 23 Bundesliga matches (and 8 goals) - 2 in 3 DFB-Pokal matches - 3 in 8 Europa League matches (and 3 goals)
  17. Yesterday it was announced that Indy Boonen (turned 16 last month) will move to Manchester United ... today Aston Villa are trying to convince 16yo striker Din Sula to sign ... Standard's academy could be facing an exodus this year ... according to the director of the academy the class of 1999 is an exceptionally talented one but they've already had to watch a couple of players leave the squad while others could soon follow, e.g. Adrien Bongiovanni (Tottenham, Roma, etc.) Zinho Vanheusden (Inter), Thibaud Verlinden (Liverpool), etc. ... there are plenty of upcoming Belgian prospects, yet the future of youth development in Belgium seems bleak.
  18. Probably he'll sign a contract extension in a few months.
  19. Tielemans is shaping up to be the Belgian Frank Lampard - UEFA.com's weekly wonderkid
  20. The Belgian Frank Lampard: http://www.uefa.com/uefaeuropaleague/news/newsid=2209100.html#uefa+coms+weekly+wonderkid+youri+tielemans
  21. Yep that's correct and James had a passing percentage below 80%.

  23. Just noticed that Bongonda was a product of the Guillou academy (brought a big part of CIV's golden generation to Belgium, including Yaya Toure) ... it seems that Bongonda graduated at the same time as Denayer. This is the moment when he caught my eye:
