Half-time. I expect a reaming out from Mourinho over our bad finishing so far followed by a second-half goal fest
-
Yellow for Sterling and a FK for us.
-
Blast. Costa should have tried to shoot instead of passing.
-
Oscar just not in the game today.
-
Twice now that Hazard has been denied. I can feel a Chelsea goal coming soon.
-
Liverpool started well and were pushing us hard. Thank God we scored and drew level. The game's settling down now.
-
I don't understand why we keep backing off and allowing them to shoot. Not good.
-
Liverpool tried to blitz through Chelsea. I expect us to dominate more as the game progresses.
-
ha ha Costa and Skrtel picking up from their international battle.
-
That pic of him watching the game is adorable. Any chance of getting a scan of the complete article?
-
Chill out people. Luckily, we're still top of the group with a 3-point cushion. Barring any mishaps, we will finish top and then work on getting better for the knockout stages in Feb.
-
How did he play against Maribor? I missed the match.
-
Bleh, unsurprisingly his 'ex-girlfriend's' interview happened only after he became famous. I don't think he ever talks about his time with her. And considering we don't see any tabloid pics of him with other women leads me to conclude he's actually quite discreet with his relationships.
-
I'm going to miss the game because I have an early morning flight to catch.
-
Who scored for us?

City will really struggle if Aguero gets injured. I mean we look a bit shaky without Costa but we still have decent strikers who can contribute in his place. It's not as bad as City's reliance on Aguero.

Sterling was a player who's talent was obvious even when he was at QPR. He had an explosive season last year with Liverpool and he looks to be continuing that form to some extent implying that he is not a one-season wonder. If United could buy Shaw for 30 million, then Liverpool are entitled to ask for more for Sterling. But realistically, that means only Chelsea / City / United could afford to buy him then. If not, then Madrid or PSG are the likely non-English teams. Comparisons to Ronaldo are going to be obvious because they were both playing in the same position at that age. It just means that should Sterling choose to put in the hard work, he could become a world class player in a few years.

I'm not buying all this talk of Barcelona's system doesn't suit defenders. Pique has grown up in that system. So he can have no excuses for crappy performances. It's not just that he gets exposed at the back. When I see him play, he makes basic defensive mistakes. Playing with Puyol covered it up because Puyol commanded his back line really well.

What are the conditions in Slovenia like currently? Not too cold I hope.
-
I'm glad that United lost. City deserved to win this game especially after being denied 3 penalties. Strangely they are struggling in the Champions League. Not that I'm complaining.
-
Gosh that was a tough match. Not helped by our performance. We should have killed them off in the first half itself. We allowed them to get back into the game. I'm glad we won the game. Two consecutive draws would have been bad for our momentum.
-
Seems like a rough decision to make. He has done pretty decently these last three games.
-
What are his chances of staying in the first 11 now that Azpi's back?
-
Wasn't at his best against QPR but that's probably due to being out so long.
-
Considering Mourinho was not too happy with the performance against QPR, I don't think we'll see a weakened team. He'll put a strong first 11 out to ensure the win and keep us on course to finish top of the group.
