  1. Too bad, this one isn't pixelated . Getting back to my ginger fix now :eyebrows:
  2. http://magictv.co/ - Scroll up above to the top and hit Stream 5 . Nothing too significant yet , supporter opinions around the Bridge and a quick chat with Ray Wilkins who said his only concern was how the senior player would take to him . Its the typical coverage of a news story , likely to go all day long with updates as they come. There's Venus Williams and a 40 year old asian woman playing under the roof with rain everywhere else . I'd rather take our ginger bearded manager .
  3. Sky Sports News on right now : http://magictv.co/ Stream 5
  4. The official website has Paul Clements and Michael Emenalo listed as Assistant FIrst Team Coaches . http://www.chelseafc.com/page/TheManagementIndex/0,,10268,00.html Come game-time , PC was the only was doing the assisting . Although Emenalo had his work cut out pre-match with the opposition-scouting reports. What AVB did hah. Villas-Boas profile already up as well .
  5. Isn't Paul Clement higher up on the totem pole ? Comes off as the guy who liasons between the team and the manager, always had his notepad out during substitutions in games and such . Seemed like the Clarke to Mourinho with Carlo to me .
  6. I won't lie , I've just about hit the replay button on that 1 minute interview , 5 times already
  7. There are no false illusions or mind-games going on about him - like Guardiola in a way , about as straight up as they come . That 15 minute video interview where he switches from Portugese to English to speak to the Telegraph reporter had me sold .
  8. Interview teaser already out on the ChelseaTV youtube channel :
  9. itv got that from http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/13877227.stm? Video interview. Jimmy doing his coaching badges as well , good luck to him
  10. :goodpost: Sums up the optimism sorrounding Villshhj-Boashjj nicely . He won't leave anything to doubt with the youthful exuberance he brings and the previous experience of doing things in a certain way -which has worked plenty .
  11. Also probably the only person who gives Immigrations a headache with the number of players he goes through. :toke:
  12. Between rainy Wimbledon and our club taking an age to go through the motions , I have to keep myself awake
  13. LMAO . The RAWK forum makes for an entertaining read . Some gems : One better than the other :champions:
  14. Doubt Roman was tapping the table and demanding Torres to be surefire starter when talking to AVB and offering the job . Nobody in the media or none of us know who the transfer targets are , besides the obvious bids that get put out and with AVB going in , there will be a clear deliberation among the management and board on assessing the current team squad and drawing up a list of who's needed . Given the fact that AVB is meticulous in his hard-on for detail , scouring reports / match preparation and otherwise , I'd say he's going to be very very hands on as a young manager hungry to prove himself on the biggest stage . The Lukaku transfer might not even happen if Villas-Boas says he isn't needed . He will have meetings with the youth managers in looking up files on current academy prospects including Josh . There's a whole process of due diligence that will happen , that the press naively avoids while lazily writing up articles of a ' bumper war-chest ' yada yada . The pre-season will give AVB a better understanding on what the first team should be , the tweaks needed within the squad to make the team better and the transfers to be made , both in and out to make better the squad overall. Everything before then is just noise to me , nobody in the media has a clue of the inner-workings and decisions made at CFC and even our own simplistic perceptions can be way off the mark many times .
  15. I'd question any news source coming out with reports like that at a time when no media has presumably had any contact with Villas-Boas , or indeed any of the backroom staff of the club who are notoriously media-shy in avoiding any papers. He isn't even unveiled yet, I'm sure there will be a few questions from the press later addressing plenty of areas , including present players and new signings.
  16. SSN reporting live from the Bridge : http://magictv.co/
  17. Porto Prez Pinto wishing Blues boss Boas well : (Post-translation ) Good man.
  18. http://www.falcao.co...unicado-oficial Doesn't give away much , besides the fact that the 'agent' making the quotes isn't actually his agent . Could still yet happen , although I don't see the point of another striker . On another note , is Jorge Mendes representing every player these days ?
  19. aka We have serial twitter nerds who alerted us of this the same time everyone else found out and we can absolutely and categorically say that we had nothing to do with this . Ah , now that he's free to talk to anyone , we'll put ourselves in front of the line. ( Chatter in the background with the best lawyers/accountants drafting the contracts ) Ledgers show that money spent by CFC on Wed, Jun 22 = nil . Take that FairPlay rules .
  20. Surely we're not just bringing Villas-Boas alone to the club ? One of the reasons , possibly , that we still haven't announced AVB's contract is that the suits are also likely working on bringing some of his backroom staff along with him . Wouldn't put it past AVB to have rounded up his team over the 2 days from the time Roman allegedly spoke to him on the weekend , find out who's staying and who wants to continue with him , and then made the decision depending on the response he got . He's not a one man operation , there's a whole setup with people assigned with very specific tasks , like Jose had/has with his team . The meticulous planning with the opposition scouting still holds true for this day with Villas-Boas with his people . Its possible that we're still working behind the scenes to sign up his assistants as well. All speculation of course , but the whole affair has gone about in a matter of days , very very quickly - even for Chelsea standards . Wouldn't surprise me if there are still a few loose ends to be tied up before putting the word out . If I remember correctly , Carlo's announcement also came with the footnote that Bruno Demechillis was coming with as well .
