I think you are reading wayyy to much into that. Also i think there was only a very very small amount of people who thought he could be our captain. And "proper chels"? How many players in modern football are "proper *insert any team*"? Its like the kissing the badge thing, it means nothing when 99% of the players do it.

Love the fact he managed to fuck with 3 defenders and the keeper on his own. Soon teams will be so focused on keeping him quiet they will forget about the likes of Hazard, Cesc, Schurrle, Oscar and willain .... happy days
-
The man love i have for this guy is ridiculous. Just watch the passion in his celebration for his second goal, fucking love it
-
Wait is that mikel or messi??
-
YES get there!!! FUCK YESSSS
-
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS speechless FUCKING GET IN THERE!
-
So anyone else super nervous for no reason?
-
Maybe Ramires to stop Baines , Hazard allowed to have a free role and not worry to much about tracking back and then Cesc plays a little deeper which imo is his better position. But Formations arn't that rigid they will chop and changes constantly throughout the game
-
Loving the line up, I think ramires is the right choice.... oh and FUCK YES costa is starting :woo:
-
i read his buy out clause is £7.9m for any Champions League team
-
I really do just hope he ends up at madrid and not in the prem, he really could do some damage in this league
-
Yeah just seen that, one of his English reporters is the one who said he was off to man city. Lot of reports have said real madrid turned him down so now his agent is trying to sell him the english clubs.
-
Its ridiculous what position does that leave Dzeko, Negredo and jovetic in? Surely they arn't going to be to over the moon about it
-
Falcao headed to Manchester City [@DiMarzio]
-
Why on earth do they need Falcao? i thought they had a transfer budget as well?
-
I actually meant ignore my comment because i replied to the wrong post, i should of put edit or something Erm they are very different strikers, As a Bench options Giroud isn't bad but as a 1st choice he is very poor. With our current strikers i would have remy over Giroud purely because he offers a lot more options.
-
Daniel/Balotelli - Liverpool Played with two striker last season so will most likely do the same this season giroud/Sanchez- Giroud is shit and injured, Sanchez is a wide player by trade dzeko/Aguero- Once again they play with two strikers but they do have better options. On the other hand most of the time they only have 2/3 out of the 4 fit at any one point Rvp/rooney - Same again neither sit on the bench both start, Welbeck is there third choice at the moment
-
People do realise we only play one striker at a time right? You do realise its extremely hard to keep any player happy on the bench let alone a striker who is considered world class right? Do people honestly believe we could sign Falcao/ Cavani For £40-60m on £200k+ and sit them on the bench. I would love that to be the case but we have to be realistic. Bony- £18-22m Expensive, Difficult deal to do in the final days of the window and im not so sure he would want to sit on our bench Benteke £18-22m Like Bony expensive and Aston Villa would play hard ball also had some Injuries recently so it maybe risky Destro £20m Roma would play hard ball they don't need to sell and is unproven in the Prem Remy- £8m Cheap, Easy Deal to do, Prem experience, Very different to our current strikers and will be happy to be 2nd striker
-
I think some are underestimating remy's ability. He adds something completely different compared to Costa & Drogba. At 8m it is a very good deal in todays market (Ross McCormack cost 11m ) He will be happy to be 2nd striker. He as Prem experience. His recored is Apps:137(starts) Goals: 65 which isn't to shabby. Wages wont be huge. I can't see to many down sides Tbh, he isn't ever going to be world class but he can certainly do a job for us.
-
I reckon we will test the water with Roma and see what sort of response we get. We will know we can get Remy at any point because of his 9m buyout clause. I'd be happy with either and would also love to have bony here but i'm not so sure he would be to interested in sitting on the bench but i could be wrong. To be honest at the moment it looks like a Win- Win Situation, Happy Days
