  1. Enzo Maresca: "When you are not able to win, it is important we don't lose. I think it's something that can happen, the last pass in the last third. Cole was quite good with that, he played half hour the other day and one hour the other day." Enzo Maresca: "I think a lack of quality in the last third [meant #Chelsea didn't score]. Some moments, we know we are not going to score every game, now we are going to try and score on Tuesday. It was important to keep the clean sheet."

  7. 🗣 Maresca: "When you play against Barcelona and Arsenal, you expect better performance tonight. But it is not always going to be possible. We have some players that it is not possible to play every two or three days. Reece, Wes, these kind of players, but we can't use them every game." 🗣 Enzo Maresca: "We perform so well against Arsenal and Barcelona, it doesn't mean we are going to always perform in the same way because of the situation you have to manage, the players you have to rotate. The level isn't always going to be the same."
  8. 🔵Emanuel Emegha's official statement I accept and understand the club's decision to suspend me for this weekend. 'm 22 vears old, I've made mistakes and I know I still have a lot to learn. And I have to learn from that. I know I have to do better, and I will do better, on and off the field to represent the club. It's important to me. I want to make it clear that I never wanted to hurt anyone. Ever since I arrived here at the age of 19, I have always given everything for Strasbourg. I'm proud to play for Racing and I'm proud to wear the captain's armband. Everyone knows that it was not easy for me here at the beginning It was a big challenge for me to succeed in Strasbourg. But I kept working harc every day to get there. Last weekend when I entered the field, it was the biggest emotion I had as a Strasbourg player. The applause when I entered, the children cheering me during the warm-up... it really touched me Thank vou from the bottom of my heart. I had a long conversation with President Marc Keller. I thank him for his advice. He knows how much 1 love this club and how much I work everv day. I also want to thank all my teammates and staff, coach Liam Rosenior, sporting director David Weir, and everyone around the team. They see me every day, they know how I am and how I work. Sometimes my words can be misunderstood, especially if people don't know me. But one thing is certain, have maximum respect for Strasbourg, for Alsace, for Meinau, for our supporters, for my teammates and for the whole club.

Before I even met him, I sent him a clip showing he could play in midfield. "When you watch a player, you have to use a little bit of imagination. I always imagined him as a midfielder. I watched his games when he was on loan at Wigan, and I saw he scored a fantastic goal from 25 yards as a midfielder. The best thing from Reece is he is helping the team and improving as a leader." 💬Maresca on whether Reece James can play another 90 minutes against Leeds: "No, it is a no, the reality is no."
