Robert Sanchez is in the form of his life and he will fight it out for the No. 1 shirt with Filip Jorgensen next season. Chelsea asked AC Milan about the availability of Mike Maignan last month but no deal materialised and they are unlikely to sign a goalkeeper this summer. Sanchez pulled off some spectacular saves in the Club World Cup final and he won the tournament award for best goalkeeper. If his form continues on an upward trajectory and his ability to play out from the back reliably and consistent carries on improving, he will be Chelsea’s No. 1. Meanwhile, the 19-year-old Belgian goalkeeper Mike Penders will join Strasbourg on loan. (@SkySports)

💥🔥💸Winstanley,Shields,Jewell and Stewart on 💸💥🔥 Outgoings/Interest update: Ðorđe Petrović: Bournemouth have persuaded him as the Strasbourg option is off the table. Sunderland will rue quibbling over the pricetag. Should get done. Axel Disasi: Villarreal and Newcastle have both held talks. Villarreal are proposed a loan with an obligation, CFC did not immediately say no but did ask about a purchase. He is well regarded. Ben Chilwell: Has talked to some clubs in Italy this week. Outside chance he ends up at Brentford. Renato Veiga: Bayern will bid once Kim Min-Jae leaves. Juventus will also look to an offer IF they can move on several higher value players. Wildcard interest from Como FC. Noni Madueke: Arsenal are preparing a first offer c. £40m+add ons. CFC will push for £45-50m guaranteed with add-ons. The feeling at CFC is Madueke would like the move and so CFC will not block it. Alfie Gilchrist: Will be a top target for Marti Cifuentes if he takes over at Leicester. Filip Jørgensen: Chelsea fielded another enquiry for the keeper and if they bring in another keeper, he will be available. João Félix: Talks with Benfica scheduled for this weekend. CFC want a sale. Armando Broja: Talking to several clubs in Germany still. His fitness is a concern and a few clubs have asked for loans with options. CFC not against a loan structure if an obligation is included. Nicolas Jackson: Aston Villa have made him top target if Ollie Watkins does leave. He was also on Bournemouth's list if Semenyo left. Wildcard move to Atletico if they moved on Griezmann. Also an option for Fiorentina if Kean's clause is paid (currently unlikely). Marc Cucurella: A very speculative enquiry on behalf of Barcelona was rebuffed. Lesley Ugochukwu: Everton and Brentford are both seeking talks. Jimmy Jay-Morgan: A scout has recommended him to Peterborough. Mathis Amougou: Strasbourg are looking at an option to buy the player to replace Habib Diarra. Zak Sturge: Joining Millwall. Alex Matos: Oxford United and Sheffield United would both like to sign him. CFC would like a buyback and/or a high sell-on. David Datro Fofana: Some second division Saudi interest. Also wanted by Genk. Carney Chukwuemeka: CFC have told Dortmund they will look to a sale or a loan with obligation before considering other loan terms. May be a tricky sale as player very much wants Dortmund. Deivid Washington: Botafogo are keen to end his loan and buy him. Aarón Anselmimo: Marseille enquired about a loan. CFC want to ensure he will play if he does go on loan. Gaga Slonina: League 1 clubs have asked about another loan. CFC are considering keeping him as 3rd choice cover. Sam Rak-Sakyi: Frank Lampard would like Coventry to buy the player. This may well happen Kiano Dyer: A lot of clubs across Europe would like to sign Dyer who feels his opportunity at Chelsea will not come. Likely to leave and will be a big loss.

Maresca on making “fat stacks” of money in this tournament : “I don’t prepare games thinking if we win, we have more money. We have a clear idea about where this squad can be improved for next season, and hopefully that can happen” 👀 (@kierangill_DM) Asked Joao Pedro about De Zerbi's influence on his transfer: "I think De Zerbi and Maresca are similar so it makes it easy for me to adapt the way I play. It is easy to understand how he wants me to play."
