Cesc wont be around during the era of thiag/ddg/isco, etc... Thiago u20s team all did well... u17 champ u21 champ 2x. The team he was not on due to injury were the world cup 2014 and olympic team of 2012. Both didnt progress pass the group stage and the olympic team that had the likes of DDG, mata, martinez, koke, isco failed terribly. The catalans all know they made a mistake signing Cesc during the time Thiago should of been groomed better. Thiago is xavi +ronadinho. That is how highly I rate him. A person that left cesc and kroos both in the dark at such a young age.

Cr7 isnt one of the best players ever.... Barcelona play a specific style, a specific way, just because you are great in one system, doesnt make you great in every system.. I agree with your assessment on bastian like in 2013 and prior, but bastian been injured way too much the past year or so... If you take away injuries, than I agree with bastian... CR7 and robben would kill each other before they share the ball together... Ake made his first start in 2012 and has already been with the first team before. i dont consider ake a chelsea youth product... ZOuma was starting in ligue 1 already. guys like chabolah, baker, loftus cheek are, but ake was already on first team and came from the dutch farm system. If Chelsea can get 2 guys on first team, than the youth system would be a success. Can't expect to do a barcelona when chelsea doesnt have a specific system in place

True. However, my main point was that Mata on paper was listed as a winger for chelsea, when in reality he was always near the central area playing as a second striker similar to Reus at gladbach. He is listed as a so called rw, but in actuality played as second striker for that team... I guess reus is still better than anyone on the right side for chelsea, but the marco reus that is amazing might be amazing due to him actually playing moreso second striker...
