The truth of the matter is Mourinho can't risk any of his potential starters for the Champions league against Liverpool even if he wanted to. The season is coming to a conclusion and players have a great number of mileage on the clock and anyone can pull up injured even with a minor knock, we are already short in numbers for Wednesday, The game which will define our season so the sensible thing to do is rest players for the Semi Final.

Cavani is very much a Mourinho type striker, someone who has presence up top and will open up space for some of our other attacking options such as Hazard however I don't think he is worth 50M+ Costa is in great form this season and would be an upgrade from our present strikers however the truth is that this is his first actual significant season so is a bigger risk than Cavani I personally would have preferred Falcao over these 2 but as that may be out of question Cavani at 40m would be a decent purchase

I don't know how Cavani has such a high number of votes, he has looked poor every time I have seen him play however he is in the mould of a Mourinho type striker

Completely agree At times I think certain fans will prefer a 3-1 defeat to a 0-0 draw, its mind boggling

0-0 is a good result for Chelsea for those slating chelsea for being defensive need to understand that Athletico have one of the best denfences in Europe and trying to attack them on their home ground would have only left us open at the back. A defeat against Athletico would be realistically game over as they would just shut up shop at SF I believe the game at SF will be of 2 halves, 1st half AM will park the bus allowing us to come forward and trying to play on the counter and if the scores remain level I can see the game opening up in the 2nd half which will suit us. If we cannot beat Athletico at home than we don't deserve to be in the final.
