I don't know - We can only speculate, right? I mean I know Le Tissier had bad Character Traits, but I believe we will never know how he would have proceeded with the right Treatment and the right Coach in a big Team. On the Pitch in the Prem he annihilated Midfielders, Defenders and Goalies left and Right .. did absurd Things .. and kept Southampton in the League single-handedly .. and you are right probably due to his Mentality, he was inconsistent. But I mean .. You replace him by Zinedina Zidane at Southampton .. and the Squad loses quality. You put Zidane into the Algerian Team instead the French Team and I'd be curious to see, how often they would reach the Final. You replace Maradona by Zidane at Napoli, and I'd love to see how often they would reach the UEFA Cup Final. That's just a few Examples ... Zidane is a good Example of a Player, who needs great Players in order to shine .. at least somewhat. Measured by pure Talent and Skill, Zidane is nowhere near Le Tissier - Is all I am saying. Zidane was a conistently good Footballer but Le Tissier was a born Football Genius ... While Zidane was clearly not. The Things LeTiss was able to do on the Pitch .. honestly? .. Zidane could only have dreamed of doing.

Where did I say that? I also rate Ronaldo higher than Zidane, But I am not saying that Ronaldo and Messi are equal. Messi is the better Footballer in my Opinion. I would however, if I had to assemble a Team (hypothetically of course), nominate both ... Messi and Matic .. and Ronaldo as well.

There a similarities in Stature, there are Footballing Similarities (Touch, Vision) and there are certainly Things that Hoddle was clearly better at ... Headers come to mind ... while Matic is certainly the better Dribbler. I'm not having a laugh at your, don't worry. I respect your Opinion.

I dont know what you mean by "Ability to spot a Pass" ... Maybe the same as I do. By Vision I mean ones Ability to read the Space and the Movement your own Players and your Opponents, in order to predict Pathways for Passes, that open up Defenses and create Chances. I believe in that regard he is in a very, very small Club with Players (Glenn Hoddle comes to mind immediately, as Matic reminds me a lot of him) .. who had the same Ability. It's just, that him being shackled to strict defensive Duties by Conte, the Chances of him throwing in some Genius Moments are very few over a long Stretch of Matches. I don't know, maybe Conte sees it the same way as you and many others, and he's going to replace him come Summer. I also see bad Passes from Matic, as I see useless Ball-Losses by Kante, epic chance wasting by Costa, the choice fore Dribbles, when a Pass is the better Option by Hazard and horrendous Positioning by Luiz .. It doesnt matter. Thats Football and noone is perfect. Thats why its most important fore the Team to function in a Heartbeat in the Long Run. Thats how Titles are won.
