He has to perform this season though, I don't really care what he does during preseason as long as he performs during the season. He needs to show consistency, we are one of the best clubs in the world we can't have our #10 not be consistent. I really hope he can have a great season this year, I really like him but he has to prove himself. If he doesn't perform we should be looking for a replacement but it's too early to talk about now.

Remy, Bony or Hernandez one of these are the most likely options I guess?

We'll have to get another striker if it's true, don't know who we should get though. It's not like there are loads of good strikers available.

We probably could have played more attacking but I'm not sure if we would have been top 4, we didn't have a striker and we had a pivot of Mikel-Ramires, Mikel-Lampard, Matic-Lampard, Matic-Ramires or Matic-Mikel. We have a much more balanced team now this season with the addition of Fabregas and Costa.

I don't think anyone is loving the way we are playing but what do you expect? We have Mikel and Ramires in the pivot atm and most of our other preseason games we didn't even have our best players. Stop judging the team based on the preseason pls, preseason means absolutely nothing.

Yea that's true, I expect that most of them will play in the 2nd half and vs Sociedad.

We only had 1 game so far with our full squad, we played most of our games with youth players instead of Oscar, Hazard, Schurrle, Willian, Ramires.
