  1. It should be a lovely game, as it is being played on Valentine However, it will be another boring West London derby, I think. As long as we win I don't really care though. The pressure is on.
  2. Your comment is a joke. Because he doesn't have a star name that doesn't mean he is not good enough. In Russia he was one of the best players, nicknamed 'Russian Ronaldinho' which was a not a coincidence. He was coming here to fill the left flank and IF he had a proper chance to prove his worth, he would be on of the best players in the league, as every time (twice, only twice!) he played as a left winger, he was outstanding. He was pretty unlucky with his injuries and with Malouda who was in the form of his life last year. This season he is a poor shit, like almost everybody.
  3. Germany's best form of protection since the Wall of Berlin! That seriously made me laugh He is a great keeper but I can't see this happening, as he definitely wants to, and needs to, be a regular starter. At Chelsea, this is a difficult thing to find a quality back-up for Petr Cech. Every keeper knows that coming to Chelsea would most likely mean being the second choice.
  4. Good shout, thank you. I am sure if we offered for him, he'd ask his team to agree, as he is a big Chelsea fan. I am just not so sure if our board know about him
  5. Yahooo! That made my day definitely. Fantastic news about a fantastic player.
  6. Happy belated birthday Looks like I was not the only one confused by the picture
  7. No problem. Indeed, quite an open game but those mistakes were really huge. The first goal - not exactly Eduardo but the other player was in hell of offside and clearly touched the ball. Then I couldn't understand their second goal - our 3 backs in our box against one striker and Kalinic scored, pathetic defending Technically, Cech didn't make a mistake, but the way he believed in himself and passed the ball, I'm not really sure.
  8. Here is Croatia v Czech Republic 4-2. Our defence was terrible, didn't help Petr Cech at all but the fourth goal is really strange not to mention the first one was offside http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BVhSEyMt8EQ
  9. We all know the story - when Carlo was a manager in Italy, once he was top of the league and 9 points clear and failed to deliver to title Just strange, he was using this example so much when Chelsea were top but once we fell down... It is now highly unlikely but never say never.
  10. Oh I forgot. You are right, with 'poor deflections and goals in the empty net' to add. Difficult.
  11. Just saw these stats: Since August 2000 only Thierry Henry (157) has scored more goals in the Premier League than Frank Lampard (114). The third best goalscorer is Robbie Keane (109). As a midfielder? Have that all Fat Frank haters.
  12. Not exactly every game, but he definitely deserves to be involved more in the first team. However, I just wish his chances won't look like 'he got 10 mins, he got 15 mins, he got 5 mins'. If he is given the chance, give it to him properly. And at the same time, playing him as a holding midfielder is not the best solution either. Okay he would play but he could offer us much more if he played on his preferred position.
  13. Cech commented the Liverpool goal for our press: 'Definitely, the goal was because of my mistake, but in football people do make mistakes. I just thought Kuyt would get to the ball. He confused me. I was ready to react to his touch and the ball I was originally coming for just went through. Simply I was one thought behind.' 'After the game, with Ivanovic we didn't talk about it. We both know very well what we should have done.'
  14. The award is in the right hands, no doubt. Well done Ash.
  15. Mirror Even for only one game but still, great to see him wearing the armbad and leading the country.
  16. He is a Serbian but maybe Petr screamed at him in Russian language
  17. Oh come on guys, look at that idiot. He only created a new topic, never added anything to it and the mess here is huge. Just let the scouser enjoy this day and the win. It is the last time they are celebrating over us.
  18. especially today, as he always was tempted to give a penalty
  19. Yeah that's right. At least the rest of the team could perform somehow, what a difference compared to the game at Sunderland. By the way, what is the English proverb, meaning 'after the battle we all are clever'?
  20. Even if Mikel and Essien were injured or suspended, they would somehow find a way to get on the pitch before him Sadly.
  21. I don't know if he could but if anyone is capable of unlocking any defence, then it's him. Although the defensive block was huge, why we didn't give it even a try? Because everyone, completely everyone was lost today.
