Yesterday I was at the testimonial game of Marek Jankulovski. He set up a game between the Czech Republic team from Euro 2004 (including Cech or Pavel Nedved) and a team he selected himself (including stars like Gennaro Gattuso or Giuseppe Favalli!). It was a great fun and pretty sad to see such a fans' favourite retire and say his goodbye. Moreover, it was great to see Petr again. And man I can tell you that Pavel Nedved is still SOME player, incredible vision and passes. I really miss this work horse. Some photos taken by me - And videos I found on youtube
Congratulations Sam! I still remember the first feelings after I saw the post of yours. Also, congratulations to the others, a lot of votes for each one so there will be your time in the following months surely.
Kalou—"Every man who plays under Jose [Mourinho] could never say, ‘Jose promised me this but then did something else’." Kalou—"Jose is always honest to his players. If you deserve it [to play] he will give you it, if you don’t, he won’t."
That quote about scoring 50 goals and choosing dribbling and passing is just incredible. It's fantastic to see him that much ambitious and still know that he is in no way selfish and is always looking for a player in a better position. I can't be more happy that he is a Chelsea player.
Winger Arda Turan has moved to quell speculation about his future by insisting he plans to stay at Atletico Madrid. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11668/8756133/ Stick to your words Arda!!
For god's sake shut the fuck up, and if you feel the need to reply yet again, use PMs. This is Mourinho topic, nothing else so keep it that way please.
Reporter: "People say in football it doesn't work a second time and it won't be the same." Jose Mourinho: "No, it will be even better." Mourinho: "I am the same but as a manager. I am same nature but much more mature and ready to stay (at Chelsea) for a long time."
