As I said yesterday, today a player is level with the opposition player but if the attacking player has a boner, VAR will look at it for a minute, zoom it in and say the player is offside. There is no benefit of a doubt anymore. Heck, last year the refs were still told to use the benefit of a doubt. If it's close, the attacking player should get an advantage. Now 1 milimeter is checked and detected. Another thing that I am absolutely dreading. A couple of weeks back in the Czech football League there was this incident. Team A is attacking in the box, there is a chaos but suddenly Team B has the ball and goes counter attacking, and scores. But hey hey VAR is looking into the chaos and finds a foul, disallows the goal and gives a penalty to Team A. Like seriously?! This situation is perfectly possible in the PL too, with the current set up.
