  1. No you dummy. I 'm going to google spare ribs - name of neighbourhood.
  2. It's not crap. Today I fancy spare ribs. Where do I find other than google ? My sister says she knows a good restaurant but it was in a side street and she does n't remember. So what do we do ?
  3. Big mistake. What are you googling then ? Asterix ? The man was living on a tree.
  4. I did n't say that. I am a good orthodox - no sex.
  5. The lefties are into it as well. All my gf's who were lefty were much worse than those gf's who were Tory.
  6. Stands to reason. If I want to pay a visit to a government minister it is not impossible to gain access, but what do I carry with me ? Six cokes and six eggs from the supermarket in Xenophon street nearby. Now if it is Rupert Murdoch it's going to be two or three suitcases wiv green stuff. The pattern repeats itself. In 1989 there was the big scandal with a Greek government minister found to have received a bribe of some 50 million today's euros in a Swiss bank. The man was put to trial but he died in the middle of the proceedings from a stroke. We thought, well that's it, who will dare do it again ? Ok maybe for 50 thousand. But from 1989 to this day there were about ten similar cases ... It's like this. You and I go to Canada to fix a corrupt arms deal. Ten years later we have spent all our ill gotten gains in horses, women, booze. Then I call you on the phone and this conversation takes place: "hey mate, remember that Nancy in Canada ?" "Nancy who ?" you say "the blonde one at the conference with the grey mini skirt" "oh yeah" you say "well, the Canadians have caught her for embezzlement and they have her in the dungeons now with the cat of nine tails - she 's going to spill the beans" You get panicky, we both pack our suitcases and are off to Brazil. But while this happens once in a while no one gives it serious consideration, so life goes on as usual. Yet the same happened when we had absolute monarchies - Louis XVI. The Frenchie nobles had no problem cheating Louis XVI.
  7. If Munchengladbach - Inter is anything to go by this will be replayed.
  8. Possible. Parts of Athens were carpet bombed in 1941 by the Luftwaffe then in 1944 by the RAF who were after German targets but they also hit houses. The communists aimed at world domination. This is true notwithstanding the equally traitorous actions of the fascists.
  9. Cambodia borders South Vietnam from the west, or southern Vietnam we should rather say now. It was the hideout of the Vietkong from which they were making incursions into South Vietnam. Given that a bloody war was taking place he had to take some action there and so these things happened. Overall I dislike Kissinger and of cours after all that he eventually gave Vietnam to the communists but the mass killings there were done by both sides.
  10. Team America - Liz Truss - Boris are even worse. In the old days we had KGB spies but the MI5 was catching a few from time to time. Now οn their doorbells it says "James Robertson - Russian spy".
  11. Kissinger was fighting communism. He believed in the domino theory. The Soviet Union was trying to influence more and more countries and make them either communist or client states. Whatever his degree of guilt it is second to Nixon's and in Cyprus they created a real mess.
  12. Well. if he was a City supporter maybe. But first time I heard that Haaland fancies City among other clubs was after we signed Lukaku. Most players say such things "I was Atletico-City-Inter-AC Milan since five years old" etc.
  13. I don't mean that. I mean Nixon was in charge and made all those decisions, not Kissinger. Cyprus might have been an exception because at the time Nixon was watergated and maybe had no idea what was going on.
  14. Maybe so. But if NATO is so much afraid of Putin all he has to do is make a shopping list of countries and say to them "let me invade or I use nukes". But it was n't just the nukes. The Americans don't want wars. Also Putin saw how they pulled out of Afghanistan and said "here is the chance". Finally NATO from all people in the world sent the useless person Liz Truss to Moscow for talks and if Putin had any remaining doubs they were cast aside.
  15. We were on the same boat as City when Borussia decided to keep him for the 2021-22 season and not let him go. But for reasons of expediency we went for Lukaku and further down the road we had the problems with the board.
  16. You forget Cyprus here - where he f*cked up NATO as well, not fighting commies. But Kissinger cannot be called a war criminal, him being just a cog of the Nixon administration, albeit an important one. That the Soviet Union did not gain huge advantage and conquer the med is because of their own deep systemic problems.
  17. Not a chance. But with such NATO response if I was Putin I would be in Warsaw - Stockholm - Oslo - Bucharest now.
  18. NATO was not going to engage Russia is my thesis because Putin would n't dare. Then even if there was a direct engagement between NATO and Russia it would still be a long-long way from going nuclear - not different from what it is now.
  19. Yes but neither Didier nor Eden were in such a list when we signed them. Also L. Martinez no, I 'm disappointed.
  20. Well, Biden allowed the Ukrainian war to happen. Pretty sure Don would have done the same but it was a policy error. If Biden deployed NATO troops in the Ukraine as soon as the threat emerged Putin would n't have dared - not once in a miliion trillion. UK's Liz Truss also participated in this foolishness. Given that NATO is now at war, in all but name, it was just as bad as Munich.
  21. Chelsea are -almost- a team of the Scottish premier these days: He who kicks the ball higher wins. We tried to escape in January with Enzo-Badiashile-Madueke-Mudryk and Felix. Did n't work and especially Mudryk looks like the super gaffe of the century. Unless something dramatic happens Mudryk is a fail. I did n't say that for Kepa when he had his problems because I know that for the goalkeepers many times it's psychological. But for Mudryk I cannot be optimistic. It looks to me like a gigantic overhaul is needed. Basically Chelsea needs a new star player. A new Eden Hazard. Many teams with such a star player shined in the past. We used to say "ok, just give this fellow four or five blokes to run around him and that's it". Haaland could have been one but we missed the bus. My money is on such a transfer.
  22. Trump is the golden sponsor of the dems. With De Santis and without Trump forming a third party the republicans may win in 2024.
  23. The drawback with Felix is he would be an expensive transfer. But I believe in a better organized team he can score more often.
