I dont want Allegri. Frank has built a good squad and did great with integrating youth like James, Mount, Tammy, CHO, tomori, Gilmour etc. Not all of those will make the squad but will fetch a pretty penny. Pick a manager that will suit the squad. I want the Werner's last coach Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

Absolutely he was reaping the results of Sarri's passing blueprint. Who remembers last year, under lampard, when we DOMINATED city at the etihad in the first half. Scored first too. That Jorginho, Kante, Kovacic midfield kept the ball of city well. Obviously, that trio has its problems. But when we played well last season it was definitely building on Sarri's work. Frank took away the restrained passes and implored the players to go forward which was when we played our best football last year. As time went on our passing has steadily declined. Sarri was boring but good luck pressing us for the ball- that was our best chance of scoring! Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

I remember it was still somewhat taboo to say frank was an average manager around October/November. Dismissed as some sort of hater. Now the easy run in is finished an we have had 5/6 games of good teams its good to see that kind of gatekeeping is in the past. The shoe is on the other foot now. Those two dreadful games against sevilla and united were certainly building platforms for attacking football just as bad. Sorry Frank, I can't see you going anywhere. I can't see us getting past Atleti or top 4. Such a shame we missed out on Poch like when we missed out on Klopp as we get Jose got too long Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

I would only sack him when a good enough coach is available. Note 'good enough' doesn't mean 'the right one'. If top 4 looks in danger in another month or so its time to look for a new coach. The problem is there's few standout options. Poch is the only one jumping out at me. I dont rate Jody Morris but would like Anthony Barry to stay. Maybe in the Steve Holland role Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

The season is a write off. A £200m write off. Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

Rudiger was a legit contributor in the FA Cup final and Europa league wins. Was man of the match in the FA final too. You're right of course, especially Conte. He did exceptionally well with the dross at his disposal and that coaching success isn't mitigated in the slightest by poor transfers on his part Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

I wouldn't trust Conte in the transfer market Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

You mean 3 trophies in 3 seasons? Plus 2 Cup finals we lost? Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

They would nod in agreement lol they are all well coached teams by managers that have proven track records. Bayern have been well drilled since pep, as Man City have been. Bielsa excels at that style of football. It is his style of football. As has Klopp consistently coached that style of pressing for years. None of these are exceptions to my point, they prove my point. You need to be well coached to press as a team. If pressing was easily coached, why aren't most teams good at pressing? Its all off the ball so it shouldn't be a matter of some being better than others. Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

I agree, kai won't work on the right wing in the PL. False 9 might be interesting if Werner plays closer to him. I haven't ruled out a number 10 yet but an 8 in a 433 suits him well. He gets on the ball far more in a 433 than a 4231 Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk
-
Not one of those will happen imo Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

Pressing is difficult as a team you really have to work on it. We have never been a good pressing team we have players that can press well individually like mount and kante Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

We need someone who can coach attacking football. 4231? Shit football. 433? Looked decent for a while but now it's hard to tell if Ziyech wasn't a big reason for the attacking threat plus the comfortable run against bottom half teams. I dont know where Hazertz should play. I know where Werner shouldn't play. Its time to give callum a winger spot if ziyech or pulisic is injured. Its time to get serious. He has too many tools to not be blamed for a failure of a season. He needs to go back to be central. Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

Very useful player for the squad. Seems to be as good as anyone else at scoring against mid table and lower teams. Not good enough for the big games but so useful for the lower teams. So start him against Arsenal [emoji14] Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

The sober view imo is to see on the one hand that two loses to Everton and wolves isn't the end of the world. Everton we had no wingers against a back 5 that sat deep and have away an early sloppy goal. Quite a common type of defeat even for big teams. Wolves was poor game management. Of course, many players had poor performances too but that happens sometimes. On the other hand, there's nothing from our previous good run that tells is much about how good we will be for the rest of the season. We beat cannon fodder. Leeds was the probably the best result and their style suits us down to the ground! Now we have a run where we play the teams in the top half which should reveal how good we are. Defensive shit housery like against united and sevilla won't cut it. At least we had moments in the spurs game which was better. It would help if we had werner, kai, ziyech and pulisic all on the pitch at the same time. Then its all on frank. Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

Who would you replace him with? Poch is the only decent one available Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

Spot on. I think lamps should try ziyech in havertz's position and either stick havertz on the right if he has to play him or drop him. Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

I've never been a huge fan since his appointment but its far too early to think about sacking him. The team couldn't pass for shit, partly because mount and havertz turned and moved forwards as the fullbacks received the ball. I dont blame Frank for much of kai's poor display and I don't think he should take the blame for much of the shit we've seen the last two games. Having said that, I think we will see he is not a top coach over the next few weeks. Weve had enough time to see he doesn't build an organised attack. But then again, considering how new the team is organisation would take time anyway, unless you are a drill master like the italians Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

Kante, kova, mount midfield next few games. Werner up front Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk
