  1. Harsh, but according to the rules, that's offside.
  2. Some have bought into the manager's propaganda.
  3. 5 cards in the 1st half for us. Zero for them. Mourinho's style of play or lack thereof encourages this kind of reckless shit.
  4. If you want to go into the meat and bones as to why Hazard is struggling, then that's fine. We can do that. But there's that and then there's you telling him to fuck off. No amount of red herrings (this is Hazard fc not CFC???) can change that .
  5. Hazard has given everything to the club. He doesn't deserve to be told to "fuck" off. How difficult is that to grasp? The fact you're trying to defend this shit is ridiculous.
  6. Hazard has ranged from average to poor, like most players this season. He carried the bulk of the attacking load in Mourinho's first season here and did likewise in the 2nd half of last season, often while getting kicked around from pillar to post, while PL refs do nothing to protect him. It's a miracle he hasn't gotten injured. He's tired, both physically and mentally and he's done more than his fair share, playing for the most part what has been defensive ball under Jose. His other contemporaries at other top clubs don't have to shoulder anywhere near as much attacking burden as Hazard does and it's understandable why he wants to leave. He's approaching 25 and has earned his stripes and battle scars in England. Now, let's make one thing VERY clear. I'm not admonishing you because you criticize Hazard's form or you bemoan the fact he hasn't "stepped up". I'm just puzzled as to why unsubstantiated rumour = telling our best player player, who has been nothing short of a model pro to "fuck off". And you wonder why CFC fans get a bad wrap in football squares? C'mon now, seriously?
  7. And where was this reaction when Mourinho was publicly saying he'll manage another English club if Chelsea sack him? And all the other crazy bull he's done to embarrass this club in public? Is the manager bigger than Chelsea or not, because, I might be wrong, but I don't see you ever posting here for him to "fuck off"
  8. 1. So why has he won every individual award available in England? PFA player of the year and PFA young player of the year back to back. 2. Why has he been our player of the year two seasons in a row back to back? I think the only player other than John Hollins, Mata and Lampard ever to do so in our history? 3. So how does a player who apparently only show flashes carry a chiefly defensively oriented team on his back two seasons in a row guide said team to the Premier league title? How many players in the world could have done what Hazard has done for us playing in that 2nd half of last season and the season before? Just a bunch of hypocrites and ingrates, man. So far this story is based mostly on rumours and conjecture but you're so quick to tell our best player to "fuck off". Hazard has given enough to this club. His conduct on and off the pitch nothing short of unbelievable. He doesn't deserve such hostile language.
  9. Exactly. That article is 100% pure bullshit.
  10. Very revealing indeed. Coming from a manager of one of the biggest team in Europe, this is his mentality? Apparently, we're the only top side in the league that that suffers the ignominy of potentially defending set-pieces with midgets! Man City apparently don't have this problem! United nor Arsenal either! That apparently didn't stop both Manchester clubs from winning the league on multiple occasions in recent years. What's funny and sad at the same time is Filipe Luis, who is 6 feet tall barely got a look in when he was here despite Ivanovic's miserable form. Filipe Luis and Azpi were barely ever played together. Now do the math. Filipe Luis, Cahill, JT, Matic - four players over 6 feet. Ivanovic, Cahill, JT, Matic - four players over 6 feet. Yep, makes sense.
  11. It will be a great shame if they get Klopp and we don't.
  12. It has to be said, THIS is how to play beautiful, fast, threatening attacking football. Arsenal creating chances at will. I hope Roman is watching.
  13. Something I've noticed. Mourinho *generally* speaks in 1st person when we're winning and in 3rd person when we're losing.
  14. Okay, now that I've gotten back home and calmed down a bit. Here's my two cents. It's a bit lengthy, but whatever. Not only can we not manage to show even a semblance of attacking football, but we are a disaster in defence. All our attacking players are losing their technical abilities. Costa, Fabregas, Matic, Willian, OSCAR, even Eden has started to show signs. This guys can't even control a football anymore. It's that bad. Wonder why? I remember when Mourinho said, "If I want to win 1-0, I think I can as a I think it is one of the easiest things in football. It is not so difficult.". The problem with self-aggrandizing declarations like that is somehow, someway, they always find a way of coming back to bite you in the ass. Mourinho has believed his hype for too long as the so-called Special One. In his 1st spell here, the (English) media, most especially Sky helped to feed his ego as this tactical wizard, a Harry Potter if you like, who knew everything there is to know about football. When Mourinho's Chelsea won a big game, it was all about Mourinho's amazing tactical ability. When we lost, deafening silence and zero credit to the other manager. This did no good for his career, as instead of trying to improve his weak points, he stuck to what had made him so successful initially. Football, in a dynamic sense, is an ever changing sport. If you stand still, you're going to get crossed over eventually. Now Mourinho is having serious problems replicating his earlier successes with a team built to ATTACK at his disposal. As was the case at Madrid, even before the schism he started in the dressing room. In Mourinho's first press conference when he returned, he said he was a better manager in 2013 than he was back in 2005. The evidence now suggests otherwise, as his team has only shown 3 months of good football in nearly 3 years and less silverwate. There's no doubt about it in my mind, he's been exposed as a manager. His entire schtick of defending very deep and narrow and hoping for counter-attacks and set-piece goals is not only undesirable at Big European powerhouse clubs, but is no longer effectual, at least when given an attacking team to manage. Mourinho will no doubt have success if he returned to Inter and was given free reign over the type of players he wants and the brand of football he is most capable of deploying. But as far as managing at the very top of Europe, I think he's done. Unless he goes back to basics and does a refresher course in fundamental attacking tactics or hires an attacking coach to his backroom staff. Ferguson had no problem with the latter, it still remains to be seen if his enormous ego will allow him to do either of these things. This is why he should never have been hired in the first place. Our board continues to amaze with its atrocious managerial decisions. Sign young, but immensely talented flair attackers in Hazard, Oscar, Mata, De Bruyne and give them to Mourinho to manage. Incredible lack of foresight.
  15. There's obviously some serious shite going on behind the scenes we aren't privy to. It's all going to come to light very soon. This current group of players are mostly amiable, easy going characters. I don't see any member of that dressing room being a trouble maker. It must have really took some doing from the manager for it to come to this.
  16. The arrogance of the man knows no bounds.
  17. I suspect they are making his bed for him.
  18. Really loving that article by Miguel Delaney. It mirrors a lot of what some members have posted here before concerning Mourinho's technical and tactical competence.
  19. Very good article by Miguel Delaney. Finally, a sports journalist who is able to understand our biggest problem. Straight to the crux of the matter, cutting through the rest of the half-truths and faux diagnosis out there.
  20. Mourinho has a certain standard he sets for himself. Since he left Inter in 2010.... Two league titles. Zero Champions league titles, including trashings at the hands of Dortmund and Atletico Madrid and last season's embarrassment vs PSG. And a couple of small cups few care about. And let's not talk about the horrid football his team's have *generally* played in this time period. That's very average.
  21. He doesn't give a shit and why should he? £20 million payoff and all that.
