He would be a great signing for any club including us, but it ain't going to happen. If he comes back to the Prem, City will more than likely meet his demands.

City's defence did a job on him yesterday, but he still looked lively from time to time. We have to provide more support to him in other big games this season, and I am sure we will thrive throughout the season.

Is that a jibe?I wasn't referring to a player we bought for £12m and has hardly been given a chance, but someone we bought for £30m, and is useless IMO.

Looking at the squad on the whole, we probably need a few more signings than we originally thought, with some deadwood going out the door.

The result is hard to take. The three points were there for the taking, but one moment of lack in concentration cost us. To make it even worse, Lampard had to be the one to score. Apart from that, a point away to our closest rivals isn't too bad, and we are still three points clear at the top.
