Why bring Emerson into the squad to not start him? That's a bigger talking point than Sarri going with a false nine again in a big game.

Seems like he's going down a similar route to our previous managers with his stubbornness & obvious favouritism. This sort of shit shouldn't happen and selection ought to be solely based on form only.

We aren't going to go mad in any transfer window on the horizon, so I would prefer us to get a CF, RWF, FB & CB before signing him, personally. The board/manager have to prioritise first and foremost instead of just getting the "easier" deals done.

I don't see what Kovacic has offered thus far to warrant a permanent move. Buying someone like Icardi would show intent, though.

I'd honestly prefer to recall Tammy/Michy. We don't want more stopgaps that will cost £30m+ and isn't up of the level we require. Icardi isn't going anywhere till next summer, which will most likely be RM. We missed our chance in the summer gone Price tag is the only thing that makes any sense. Two (arguably three) key moments on his behalf cost us; his poor decision making resulting in awful left footed shot whilst Morata was open to his left & holding onto the ball too long before being dispossessed, which resulting in Wolves' winner. He has singlehandedly cost us at least 10 points (would be level at the top).

However, two of the three came on and effectively won them the game from 1-1.
