  1. Not see who won last year or where Mahrez was placed yesterday? You'll have your answer
  2. RLC is back in Feb if we're lucky and have no idea what condition he'll be in. As it stands, we don't have a regular source of goals similar to the Ballack, Essien & Lampard days. We haven't exactly been lacking in the chances department but still lack that clinical touch from last year. I do agree with the point that the squad doesn't need massive chances right now aside from the addition of one or two players that are a class above the current crop.
  3. A shame Mane didn't go all the way with Senegal. It would have been a certainty had he done so.
  4. If we honestly go down that route, we're done for.
  5. We lack goals from midfield when RLC ain't in it. To think Kante probably leads that stat from the start of last reason is beyond damning. Options that differ from what's already available isn't a bad thing.
  6. Hope there's a clause at the very least. He could definitely get into our team and it's been that way for some time.
  7. All set up for Mourinho to do a job on Wednesday and end Ole's spell as manager.
  8. I should have mentioned against the rest. Liverpool are a class above IMO. I wouldn't say anything is a given tbh. Watford might bounce back after recent developments as well
  9. Might happen when they play a notable side. Last defeat was against that Utd side, so..
  10. 3 minutes turned in 6 and look what happens
  11. Stats alone aren't the only marker. If anything, trophies should be king unless Messi is getting Muller-esque stats. VvD reached two finals, winning one.
  12. Villa doing what we do and gift Utd a goal in the process.
  13. Utd and Leicester are behind. Looking good so far
  14. At least sides around us have dropped points thus far. I think Leicester will extend the gap but Utd will probably follow the rest.
  15. Reason why Kante is still imperative to the team regardless of who's in charge.
  16. That midfield offers literally no protection. The keeper thing is something I pointed out earlier. Probably making his Prem debut at 33 and wasn't tested at all. [emoji58]
  17. Precisely. You can't expect to effectively freeze Giroud out magically expect him to deliver. Jorginho is the main one tbh; he's been dreadful since the INT break, so he shouldn't be near the starting XI against Villa. No one is exempt from criticism because of their age. From what I can see, Jorginho & Willian were called out for there part as well. A few gamed this season where Lampard's squad selection or subs have cost us. Needs to make the right calls on Wednesday.
  18. Giroud, Pedro & Jorginho aren't youngsters. None of them should have started IMO
  19. Kante has only been on 30 mins and has been the best player. On Lampard today
  20. Well, Pulisic as AM is better than this
  21. We was supposed to solve our problems. If this is going to be a regular thing, RLC's return can't come soon enough.
  22. Says enough. Never a fan of a false 9, but we'll see
  23. We need to take the game to them now. A massive lifetime
  24. A team offering width against one that isn't. VAR to save us again?
