Ofcourse there was criticism, but i cannot recall he ever slated him for a bad performance. Salah was just a patch for the departure of both KDB and Juan Mata. Schürrle has been in and out the team for almost 2 years now, he never had extended spells of beïng a first XI player. Out of form? He's never been in form for more than a month, he's average and was an average player when he came to the club. I hope if we get Cuadrado it will broaden our options in the AM, but he is mainly coming in as a replacement for both Schürrle and Salah. Time will tell if he displaces Willian.

Terrible first-half, not only him though. Redeemed himself in the second , hope he still has some gas in the tank for City.

I would like him here, homegrown + alot of room for growth and can even perform as a false nine. Aside from Reus who can we even get that would be an obvious upgrade on Willian. Cuadrado for 30 million isn't really worth it and way to expensive. He's rarely injured and is already used to the league + the incredible amount of games we play a year.

Cahill is a rock this game

A player played well, and was involved in 2 of the goals while covering for both fullbacks. This gives players like Hazard/Oscar/Cesc alot of freedom to do what they do best. Heck he even played better than Hazard this match (who was invisible in the first half), for our system to work we need good pressers. I see Costa, Willian, Matic do that alot every game they play, Oscar too. But not at the same intensity and speed as Willian does. Mourinho likes him and goes as far to say that he always gives a performance. Next time watch the game before you come here spouting bullshit.

Schürrle at his best and worst

Much better from Willian today, if he play's like that in most games i absolutely prefer him over Ramires just for his contribution in the build-up. No excuses though for not scoring atleast once this game.
