  1. Harsh, considering he won them multiple points this year.
  2. Because of the attacking style of the Eredivisie, it would actually be easier for him to make his actions there. A physical league is a must...
  3. What is happening there man. Real is losing badly, Barca can't score, Atletico could already have the title without that error...
  4. Hehe, true, but he also played less matches right?
  5. Scored again, bringing his season total to 15 goals and 6 assists. (One more goal and one less assist than Hazard. Weird. I wonder how many potential Hazard assists were wasted this year. ) Well, the game's not finished, but still...
  6. I would at least give him a loan in the PL. He has to adapt to the physical part of the game I think.
  7. He was already better than them before the season started. Yet he barely played in the first five or so matches. What does that say about José's thoughts on him back then? He made a smart move. No other way around it.
  8. I'm so tired of this sad, sad argument. Oh no, he as a football player would rather keep his options open to play at the biggest event in the sport, something that's only organised every four years, in stead of warming the bench for 1 has been (Torres) and one decent striker that used to be better (Eto'o). He'd be an unambitious tool if he'd pick the other option after seeing what happened during the first month of the season.
  9. I'm not judging him on the result alone. I'm judging him on the way the team has been playing the last few months. It's boring football. And why wouldn't Chelsea be in the top four if you played a bit more positive? Who would be in your place? There were matches where they did attack and they were fun to watch and sometimes even great. José has put himself on a pedestal. He's the 'special one' and he absolutely loves the nickname. I sympathize with the guy, I think he's a great addition to world football and at least he's entertaining compared to almost every other boring manager. But he's only special when he's winning. When he's not, he's a scared coach with defensive tactics that make for bad football, and losing is never ever his fault. Unless a miracle title is still on the way (you have my blessing), this will be the least successful season in three years, since there were EC wins in both previous seasons. The last coach who won one was despised by most of the fans. I really, really hate Real btw, so it's not that I'm a happy camper right now.
  10. He's blaming one of the only players that was above average this year for the loss, while he parks the bus against any decent opposition with a team that is probably better suited for attacking football. He did the exact same thing in Madrid, which was even more horrifying to watch. Sometimes he thinks he's coaching Sunderland in stead of Chelsea I think. He obviously had a great career and you should respect that, but look who's finally in the CL final with the exact same team minus José, Ozil and Higuain + Bale. Madrid.
  11. For a manager of his stature, Mourinho can give some really, really bitchy comments from time to time. Pitiful.
  12. What bothers me a bit about Mourinho tactics, is that he plays like he's the lesser team against any decent opposition. Defensive, counter-style football. He even did that at Real. It's not really nice to watch and with the attacking qualities Chelsea has it's not really necessary to put 6 defensive players on the pitch in a home-game. The point was to score a goal, right?
  13. In Belgian press, there was talk of him leaving for the Spurs in exchange for Paullinho and some money... Bullshit I presume?
  14. So there's been doubts about him "not being ready for the PL" all year, but one decent match against Chelsea and suddenly he's the world's greatest. Ah, football fans...
  15. The ball is just as round in the Premier League man. Also, he'll get some experience playing Chelsea. Should be enough. ;-)
  16. 4 German titles, 3 German cups, 1 German League cup, 3 FA cups, 1 league cup, 1 community shield, one Premier League title... Not that unlucky, in my eyes.
  17. Three assist today. Still waiting for his first goal though (I think).
  18. The point is that he's far too good to be playing for any team not in the absolute top four, and Chelsea wouldn't loan him to them (duh). Players should respect their team, but the team should respect its players as well. That's how it works. Also, what kind of experience would he be needing by now? K, he won the Spanish cup, the Europa Cup, is on top of the Spanish league right now and kept several clean sheets in the Champions league. But hey, I bet he could still learn a few tricks at Sunderland.
  19. Like what team exactly? I'm sure he'd be very happy at Stoke after winning a European Final a year ago. Or should they have loaned him out to City or Arsenal or the Spurs? Why not give them Hazard too, while you're at it. Makes things a bit challenging.
  20. I would worry more if he lets the last one in too easily... ;-)
  21. You guys are interpreting that UEFA message pretty colorfully. They clearly say that a loaned out player should always be able to play against his mother club and that any regulations made between the clubs don't matter to them. Also, the question about the Celtic player came after it was already decided he WOULD play. They didn't even have to make a stand. You can keep pulling the "everybody hates us" card, but that doesn't change what is written here. "If a player is duly registered on the player list of IF Elfsborg then he can play against any team that Elfsborg are drawn against."
