  1. Only the Saudis can save us now
  2. Wouldn't exactly call him scraps, he got 16 G+A from LB and Dortmund wanted to keep him, but his contract ran out
  3. If we say we want 50m, we'd get 30m
  4. If we get Caicedo+Lavia that would be 5 19-20 year old CMs bought within a year
  5. Kone has been poor this season sadly. He might well find form again, but would be a gamble
  6. My guess would be we're going for Caicedo+Lavia now. What's your opinion on Lavia? Haven't watched him a lot and when i saw him play i wasn't that impressed.
  7. I mean he agreed terms and wrote that goodbye post 6 months ago. Don't think that means much
  8. This whole Ugarte business is a good sign to me. Shows actual pro's are in charge now, who know that massively overpaying will fuck you long term. I would've really like Ugarte here, but if we manage to get Caicedo that'll all be forgotten. That deal just became an absolute must though
  9. The headline says close to completion. But the article doesn't really read like actual reporting, more like a little sensationalist fluff piece exaggerating what is being said elsewhere
  10. https://www.bild.de/sport/fussball/fussball-international/real-madrid-mega-deal-um-dfb-star-kurz-vor-abschluss-er-kommt-wohl-84177222.bild.html This is the article they are referring to
  11. RLC to Milan, Kova to City, hopefully selling Conor, probably no new Kante contract, Zakaria going back to Juve - 2 new midfielders might not even be enough
  12. he knows nothing in general, but especially not about this
  13. Can't see us getting both, with Man U and Liverpool also in the market for a midfielder
  14. I'm just referring to his injuries. I sure hope he'll play a big part, but counting on that would be a big gamble
  15. If Kova leaves we'd certainly need 2 midfielders though. We cannot count Kante in any squad planning sadly
  16. Plays like a seasoned pro at 16. This one really could turn out to be massive
  17. Osimhen is obviously a good finisher, but in the games i watched he seemed rather clunky on the ball to me. Is that a wrong impression?
  18. Look, i don't wanna talk this to death, i think i've made my point and i'm not trying to say Potter is doing a great job. But i'm seeing a clear delineation between tonight, where we created loads, and the last weeks, where we didn't create shit
  19. We were anything but completely closed down, we dominated the second half. We don't have any other striker in the cl squad than Havertz, which of course was Potters decision, but doesnt change anything about his choices tonight. Cucu was brought on because Chilly wasn't ready for 90 minutes yet.
  20. Look, i've been anything but a Potter fan these last weeks, but blaming him for tonight is just mindless hate
  21. How on earth is tonight Potter's fault, our players can't finish to save their lives
