I tried putting the shoutbox back on but theres errors since the upgrade, i have to upload the new files.

Turn what off? The sidebar?

View new posts is at the bottom, that bar is fixed to the bottom it doesnt move. Once you close the sidebar it should stay closed.

It was just an idea i had, can always be changed. I've now changed the skin width px, its the same width as before now. If you dont like the sidebar close it.

Later. Status updates are part of IPB now, whats the harm of having them on a forum? The layout is crammed for you because your resolution is small. It uses a % width now instead of using px. This is as simple as it gets, its the default skin changed to blue.
