So I just picked up my copy of Carlo Ancelotti's autobiography yesterday, and haven't put it down since. Just finished it actually. Absolutely loved it, and love Carlo so much more now.

Can anyone recommend any other football autobiographies that are a good read? I know Makelele wrote one recently but not sure if it's published in English, will have to check. Also heard from friends that Steven Gerrads book is quite a good read.

Any recommendations would be great.

Yeah Gerrard's book is a really good read!

I really want this book but the old man does too, so I'll probably get it for him as a stocking filler for Christmas.

I read a few. Paul Gascoigne and Sven Goran-Eriksson. Both were interesting, but not in the same way as this one. Alot of footballers books detail every single season and it gets a bit repetitive and boring, where as every chapter of Carlo's was interesting and seemed to have a point. For what he's done in football, its relatively short in comparison to others.

ha the book is for charity! All the profits go to ASL research (its the disease that Stephan Hawking suffers from). Maybe its out on torrent already though.
