He is a good player, I still rate him. He had a torrid time at Man City which is fair enough and it has ruined his reputation completely, but I think in a team full of good players like AC he can thrive.

I don't think Robinho is particularly as good as most people claim. He has always struck me as a very hit and miss sort of player. Maybe he would have done better at Chelsea playing alongside quality players but when Scolari was sacked and things weren't looking so good for the club would Robinho have kicked up a fuss? Probably. He was a huge risk when you factor in transfer fee and wages.

He seems to believe that football isn't a business which it is and he needs to accept that. If the wants a familial type atmosphere with in the club he may never be happy anywhere or perhaps that is just his "excuse" as I recall he was happy with the atmosphere at Real either. I don't think he will be happy any where that he isn't being catered to and has the club answering to him every time he whines. I could be wrong but that is the way he comes across
