Neymar continues to be hotly linked with Premier League outfit Chelsea, and the young Brazilian, who currently features for Santos, has received some of his most enticing offers this summer from England, his agent has confirmed.

Regarded as one of Brazil’s foremost young talents, 18-year-old attacker Neymar has attracted interest from all over Europe, though it seems like a move to the Premier League is very likely. There were even suggestions on Friday that the youngster had penned a deal with Chelsea, though these would appear to be inaccurate.

“If Santos only gives Neymar a raise, it's not good enough. He needs projection in his career. We want him to be elected the best player in the world,” Wagner Ribeiro, the youngster’s representative, told Radio Globo.

“The possibility of Neymar being chosen the best in the world in Brazil is zero. We have the best players, but we don't have a good league. Now, the decision is with the kid and his family.”

Ribeiro is presently in the USA discussing the teenager’s future with the player’s father, namely the potential move to Chelsea, and Globoesporte reports that a meeting will take place between the agent and Santos on Tuesday to consider Neymar’s position in Brazil.

Santos currently own 60 per cent of the player’s rights, and with Chelsea bidding €30 million for his services, the Brazilian outfit stand to earn €21m. The other 40 per cent of Neymar is owned by a group of investors under the DIS umbrella.

There are rumours that if Santos stand to earn €21m from any deal, Neymar is free to leave the club irrespective of what DIS think of the deal. However, club president Luiz Alvaro Ribeiro denies the existence of this bond.
