For me its "Happy Christmas (War is over)" by Lennon. Top man and a Top Tune. However I would urge anyway who hasnt seen the video to this to watch it, and try to keep the lump from the throat and try to keep a dry eye. :)

Just realised tonight how totally depressing that song is.

Just realised tonight how totally depressing that song is.

Lennon was an atheist, and I guess he was trying to draw to peoples attention the plastic 'Peace on Earth' Christmas message with the reality of rampant consumerism, and relentless death through war and indiscriminate killing. Hence he conveys this hypocrisy with a mournful song.

Then again he might have been just off his tits as he also wrote ''you are the egg man, we are the egg men, I am the walrus, coo coo cachoo''

Fair play to Lennon, I think he was off his tits pretty regulary. Just a shame he never had the chance to try out the "Disco Biscuits"............Lennon on Accceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed
