American Beauty, Shawshank Redemption come undeniably close but this movie has been dumbed down for too long by those who see action but blind to the substance.

Brilliant film. I love the Matrix Trilogy and don't understand the crap the sequels get, especially Reloaded. No denying the first is the best though, superb plot and visually stunning.

There is SOO much truth in that scene, even though the Matrix itself is taken from gnostic teachings, there are still tons of truth in it.
