I know my AS-Level grades aren't what I could've achieved, and that's taught me a lesson already.

That was the same with me, I reckoned year 12 wasn't as important as year 13 so didn't work anywhere near as much as I should have. Considering your AS results go towards your overall A Level grade it's much easier if you work hard for both years
