JOHN WELLER

I am ashamed to say that I should have posted this two weeks ago, I actually thought that I had, Guess I fucked it up:

JOHN WELLER, Father and Manager of Paul Weller, died on the 22nd April. Towards the end of his life he suffered from Alzheimer’s, Which sadly took his life.

I aint going to rattle about this and bore people. People of the time will remember him for His intro's to THE JAM concert's and the ultimate backing he always devoted to his son. Most fans of The Jam will have stories to tell of the man, How us used to allow us in to hear the sound checks, etc. He really was a top, top man and will be sadly missed. He was 77 when he died.

He was cremated on the 6th May in Woking. The Jam's 'Going Underground' was played during the service.

JOHN WELLER R.I.P. xxx :(
