Juventus coach Claudio Ranieri has praised Guus Hiddink for the way he led Chelsea to victory at Liverpool last night.

“I admire Hiddink a lot,” Ranieri told Sky Sport Italia. “The first thing he did was to get the fitness levels back up.

“Guus has turned things around at Chelsea. There were reports that the team weren't training well under Luiz Felipe Scolari, plus his tactics were a bit obvious and he left out Didier Drogba.

“By contrast, Hiddink's side are in prime physical condition. And when you have Drogba in the squad it is difficult to leave him out.”

Scolari was a bit of a pleb tbh. Fair enough he got the best out of Anelka, but the guy is a natural goalscorer anyway. Drogba is a unique player and should have been ultilised right from the off.
