Drogba: Finding a better club would be hard

Didier Drogba has stated that playing for a better team than Chelsea would be ‘difficult’ amid reported interest.

The Ivory Coast star has been linked to both Manchester City and Inter, but he now appears to be settled at Stamford Bridge after a difficult spell under Luiz Felipe Scolari.

“When you are close to the end of your contract there are lot of rumours about you,” Drogba told Ouest-France.

“That is quite normal.

“Let’s not forget that the English league is currently the best.

“We are vice-European champions behind Manchester [united], who only won it on penalties.

“Moving somewhere better would be difficult.”
