RX8 40
This is real sample let´s face the Tactical of both manager This is Rusia in the Euro cup with Hiddink as a Coach. http://www.eurocopa.com/selecciones/rusia-35156 Now this is Portugal With Scolari http://www.eurocopa.com/selecciones/portugal-35157 Now if can see is the same line up... in both national teams... So.. is like this Rusia = Portugal = Chelsea Akinfeev = Ricardo = Cech Kolodin = Ferreira = A.Cole Ignashevich = Pepe = Terry Berezutskiy, A. = Carvalo = Carvalo, Alex Anyukov = Bosingwa = Bosingwa Bilyaletdinov = Petit = Obi Mikel Zhirkov = Deco = Lampard Zyryanov = Moutinho = Ballack, Deco Arshavin = Simao = Malouda, Kalou, Quaresma Sychev = Cristiano Ronaldo = J.Cole, Kalou Pobrednyak= Nuno Gomez = Anelka, Drogba As you all can see play the same sistem with the same player in there position... Hiddink may change the sistem to 4-4-2 but that a variable that Scolari also try to use and didn´t Work also.... So Where is the problem? Was the tactic or the kind of player that we have? I thing the aswer is clear.... We are still playing the same sistem that the Special One Mourinho let in the team. So me conclution is simple... As long as the team remain the same no coach can make a difference in the tactical game... bacause we don´t have different players... and... as long as a manager don´t last in the team the new player for new sistem will never be implement so we will keep having the same problems... In special when the injurys keep coming every game. Edited February 11, 2009 by RX8
warnie_666 1,081
Havent watched much of Russia, but the 4-3-3 that Scolari follows is through the middle of the pitch to allow the Full backs to go forwards on the flanks which is different to 4-3-3 that Mourinho followed which allowed the wingers to operate wide on flanks and cut inside. Scolari's system of 4-3-3 was very narrow
