Chelsea look set to sign Abdul Baba Rahman

Recommended Posts

After selling Filipe Luis back to Atletico Madrid the blues have been in search of a new left-back. It looks like Ghana international Abdul Baba Rahman is set to be that man.

Jose Mourinho has been tracking the defender for some time and it appears a deal has been agreed.

Augsburg his current club appear to have signed his replacement already, that's 21-year-old left back Philipp Max from Schalke 04.

Rahman is said to be keen to get the deal over the line so his agent Sascha Empacher says, personal terms are all set as the teams continue to negotiate.

He told Sport Bild: "It is only the clubs that have to find an agreement. We on our side are agreed."

There's also been stupid rumours going around that we're after Tottenham's Danny Rose for £15 million!? This of course has to an absolute joke. Hopefully the signing of Baba Rahman is sorted out soon
