Hey guys

I recently wrote a book up on Amazon/Smashwords/Lulu and Payhip about our own double winning season in 2011/12.

However, I'm struggling to get it noticed at all on these sites. I've tried using Twitter and posting on Chelsea related Facebook postbars but no luck.

So I was wondering if anyone here, knew any good ways to get it out there to Chelsea fans so they can at least read the preview

I ordered.

It's difficult though.

I mean I try myself, sometimes it works sometimes it does n't.

In the early days of the internet I talked about one of my projects to a neighbour and he said let's take a walk to the port, a splash among the boats will do you a world of good (!). But it worked and money kept flowing in like rockies and the neighbour proved an idiot.
On other occasions failed dismally despite expectations.
The thing is to catch the drift of the market.

Also the bigwigs. If the bigwigs among the mass media are kind to you then you are bound to succeed. One time I made two websites for two friends. The first one was good but the traffic was gowing pretty slow. Something was achieved in the end but not great things. The other one was simpler but the guy said to me "don't worry I have other friends in the national sports radio", which indeed he had. So his traffic went up from 0 to some 200,000 in one week. Those radio men he knew made one or two mentions in the chat show every day, but it was enough.

Yeah, it's a bit of a downer when you've put a lot of time and effort into something and it struggles. I looked at our own Kindle section on Chelsea and their is so little compared to the other clubs. We don't have any season reviews at all while clubs like Liverpool celebrate the fact they come second and write all about it. There is one Champions League review for our 11/12 and it's only 60 pages long and retails at 7.99! While mine is 450-550 pages long and is half the price. Though to be fair I went somewhat insane in having to listen AVB again (thought i'd escaped him forever!) so I can see why

What I really need is someone who writes a blog or such to promote but I don't know who to contact. If the mods here want a copy then PM me and i'll send them a review copy.

I'm sure i'll find a way

Try contacting the popular CFC podcasts. @StamfordChidge on twitter runs one of them. Also wouldn't hurt to get in touch with Plains of Almeira if you're looking for a popular blog. There's also WAGNH.

It's a very particular market that you're delving in to as only really Chelsea fans will be interested in purchasing it.

Try CFCUK, CFCNet, The Shed End. Also get on Twitter and see if you can get some heavily followed Chelsea fans and accounts to Tweet about it.

Will do, am already on Shed end but need to post some more.

Going to take the price down to 2.99 which I think is a more than reasonable price for a lot of work. Been away so going to do that tonight. Thankfully since I last posted it has started to sell a bit.

That would be a great idea, I was thinking about asking the staff here if they might do something like that. Perhaps I'll send them a copy to review, would hate for someone to endorse it and it not to be any good.

Sadly I'm only starting out and am only self published with my two books. It's a book that would look great in print though with pictures. Maybe someone from Chelseafc will buy it and publish it. If you buy the book and send me the reciept on email I will send you the word document and you could print that?
