Interrail around Europe!

Hello everyone!

Me and a few friends are planning on purchasing Interrail tickets this summer. We're going to travel around Europe for 14 days, and I would like to ask experienced travelers and my fellow Europeans a few things.

We are traveling mainly by train, and our list of 'where-to-go' at the moment is:

- The Netherlands

- Belgium

- Spain

- Italy

- London, UK

If you have any experience using the Interrail tickets (global pass), I would greatly appreciate any tips regarding traveling times and prices. Anyone living in each of the aforementioned countries, what are the prices for food, accommodation etc. Finally, any special place or building you would recommend visiting, that the usual tourists often miss?

Common traveling tips or advice is greatly appreciated! I know I'd probably be able to find much information by googling, but why not take advantage of our wonderful community?
