I'm sure by now you have all seen the news about this new league the Qatari's are trying to start their own elite competition.. 24 teams with each participating team to be paid £175m

Do you think this will spell the end to champions league?

It´s too premature to judge DFL.

Perhaps, two or three years down the road, it may succeed. Providing the top teams will participate in it.

However, 175m to compete in it is plenty of money not to participate. Chelsea were paid a bit over 47m for winning CL last year.

This could be the approach for most teams if this goes through who get knocked out of europe due to FFP just play in the tournament once in every 2 years and you will have made more than winning champions league 3 times haha
