According to the show biz luvvies "Minder" is being regenerated for a showing in the spring, with Shane Ritchie playing an Arthur Daley role, If not the man itself. Brave move indeed as I thought George Cole had it down to a t. Him and Dennis Waterman were every bit as good as Morecombe and Wise. Gary Webster done ok but hard act to follow in Waterman.

I'll watch with interest. My Youth was Minder, Loved it. That and "Small Faces" a Movie about Glasgow Gangs, well worth a watch

I don't think it should be re-made.Minder was among the best TV progs of the 1980's and should be left alone.It would never be the same and there's only ONE Authur Daley imo.

Shane Ritchie should stick to pestering bored Housewives to change their brand of Soap Powder.

I did'nt live that far from where Minder was actually filmed,in Brook Green(West London)
