Best mobile phone tariff?

So, I'm due an upgrade in January and just wondering if anyone knows any decent deals? I'm currently on iPhone 3GS paying £40 per month. I'm looking for a contract and hoping to get a cheaper deal with iPhone 4S.....Unless anyone can change my mind with any other decent smart phones. I've browsed about a little bit and nothing has caught my eye so far. Maybe there's better deals in January?

Orange are the worst tariff out there, they fucked me about & I left them last year. Believe it or not 3 have the best iphone 4 deal & they are not a bad company anymore, my brother got a iphone 4 with them and has had no problems with them & their signal is alot better than it used to be.

Me personally I'm with vodafone, mainly because they had the cheapest iphone deal while I was looking, but I only have the 3gs & wasn't too bothered about getting the 4.
