Ivorian players were very aggressive yesterday.
-
I remember when he was still playing for Lille years ago, Arsene Wenger was the commentator of a match and he said he was sure that Hazard will end up playing centrally when he'll be the finished article. Obviously he is much more influencial there.
-
It reminds me when Rio Mavuba said that Hazard was the most talented player he ever played with... considering Mavuba has played in a Villareal side with Riquelme, Forlan, Pires...
-
At last a praise from Mourinho! I always thought he was quite "praise shy" toward Hazard for obscure reason
-
My local TV only showed the United game (which was quite entertaining nonetheless) I missed hazard's performance tonight , damned
-
I wish Thorgan would play in a stronger league, like Germany or even France, but he is obviously talented.
-
I don't know why people compare him to Messi or Ronaldo, he is very different from them. I'd rather compare him to Iniesta or Ribery; at 25 he will be at their level if not more.
-
at Lille, he had a lot of people doing the defensive work for him: Balmont, Cabaye, Mavuba, Beria... the whole team revolved around him so he was more impressive, but the team was too Hazard dependent.
-
I heard he wasn't "that" good if you except the goals?
-
Decent game. Good thing is that he looked slimmer and seemed to start recovering his vista, slowly but surely. I'm not expecting stellar performances this season like he did last year against West Ham or scoring screamers like against Manchester United or Prague, not under Mourinho... I hope he will, but it's just a feeling.

KDB is hardly Belgium's best player. As for Lukaku, I'm really impressed with his performance both today and at Everton; I was always skeptical about him, I always considered him overrated and clumsy but he proved me wrong lately...
-
Judging from his career, he is a five-seasons wonder so far
-
Misunderstanding there. I never implied it was Mourinho's fault? I said that he played badly under Mourinho, and I was worried that it might give Mourinho a wrong impression of Hazard's ability
-
I haven't seen the game. What worries me is not one bad game, what worries me is that he never had a good game under Mourinho, except the Bayern one. I hope Mourinho really knows what Hazard is capable of.
-
That's what i was thinking during the Bayern game; Hazard is the king of the preassist, unfortunately it doesn't translate statistically.
-
I'm worried about Hazard... he seems slow and showed none of the skills he is known for since Mourinho arrived
-
Eddie doesn't sound good

no stream?
-
sorry if it's already posted somewhere but anyone have a good stream?

Finished watching Belgium vs France... quite an average match tbh Courtois was good, Kompany is as great as ever and I loved Witsel and Fellaini's performance. The rest was average; Hazard was good, nothing spectacular; Lukaku is still clumsy; Benteke was disappointing, Chadli was invisible and De Bruyne had better games.
-
I see Hazard more as an Iniesta than a CR7, that is, less an athletic player but smarter. Iniesta is shot shy too.
-
Eden's performance against Real http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MTdGIX2wCo0 He didn't seem as sluggish as he was against AC/Inter and he played much better than I expected according to what I heard around here
-
I only watched a bit of the game and something that struck me is how Madrid's defenders were hard on Hazard; don't forget that Ancelotti knows Hazard very well as he was the PSG coach when Hazard played for Lille, and even wanted to buy him at one point. He knows that when a defender is agressive on him, it's hard for him to express his skills.
-
From what I've seen of the game (missed the first half), the main difference is that Chelsea is still a work in progress, with players not quite fit, who are not used to play together yet, while Madrid played in full gear as if it was the mid season, with players who know each others for years

I gave up searching for a stream link, and i woke up too late :s
