No striker coming in january according to Mou in the press conference

Too bad, he was quite good when he played for us last seaon before the injury. Guess it can take some time for him to get back to where he was.

Anyone know if we have a recall option for him? I guess not, but it would give us better options for the CM role now that MVG is injured.

I think Ivanovic should be rested this game, he hasn't looked very sharp the last 2-3 games. If we go for 4-3-3 I would really like to see Essien play, he is well rested and I think he could do a good job in this formation. Everyone is probably screaming for Mata to play but I am not sure this game will suit him very well, and he will have alot of oppertunities to start in december. I agree completely, he will have much more of an positive impact on the game if we play him less often. As it is now I really hope The Bison starts on Sunday instead of Lamps if we go for the 4-3-3, shame he isn't in our CL-squad. Otherwise I would like to see Oscar or maybe even KdB trying to adapt playing alongside Ramires and Mikel because we really need a solution for this problem especially now when we go through one of the most hectic periods of the season in december. In the January window we really need to make this our primary objective.

I' not saying Lampard is'nt good enough to start for us but we should look to play him more like United plays Giggs, and come january we really need to get a quality CM if we are going to play 4-3-3.
