That may be true, however, clubs purchase players due to potential as well... Shaw is what jack Wilshere was a few years back. The hottest young English talent. What English club wouldn't want that? (Im not debating whether Rodriguez is better or not, just that Shaw is going to be pricey, due to what I said before).

Drobga was superb 11-12 CL.. However, so was Cech, Cole and Ramires... He also committed 2 penalties, which luckily missed.. (had either converted, Chelsea would of lost and Drogba would of been the scapegoat). Mario is a good option. However, if he doesnt stay at bayern (which I think he will), Italy would probably be my best bet for him... Cavani is not realistic and Falcao is possible.. I guess. So, Diego would be the best/realistic option...
