England star Joe Cole has become a dad for the first time, after wife Carly Zucker gave birth to a baby girl. The 7lb 12oz tot, born at 7.12pm on Thursday night, is said to be the spitting image of the Chelsea midfielder. Joe, 28, was at his wife's side during the birth at London's Portland hospital and texted his England teammates straight away. It is Joe's first child with 25-year-old Carly and comes nine months after their lavish £2million wedding. A source said: "Both mother and baby are doing really well. The whole family are delighted and Joe was really emotional immediately after the birth. "They originally planned on calling their daughter Scarlet but because she looked so much like Joe they are reconsidering. "She really is the spit of her dad – all the family are laughing about it. "Joe was texting and calling all his mates." Mirror Congratulations Joey. Hopefully it brings him some motivation and a goal.

Well i think either let Joe Cole or Kakuta start this game. If we start joey and he plays like he did against West ham than let him stay on, if not and he plays like he did against inter get Gael on for him and let him show everyone that he has the ability to play in the premier league.

Agreed. Kakuta has as much potential as any player to ever play the game at his age. I cant see why Carlo stopped playing him. <br>

I kinda think when ballack went off the pitch we lost all our shape in the midfield. Joey looked lost.

Jose is a brilliant coach and everyone knows this. But at the end of the day we have a brilliant coach our selves. So give him time and everyone keep the faith.
