Same, I was hoping for a trophy or two.
-
I've been ''digging'' at him since he was appointed ''Director of Football'' Fuck him. Irrelevant waste of space.
-
No you're right A. Its in those times you need lightning responses to situations. Grant reacting like a sedated sloth in crucial games doesnt win trophies.

Whats with Kenyon going up first and having a medal draped round his bulbous neck ? Since when have someone from the board of directors gone up to get a medal ? Sort it out Platini. At least Bobby Charlton declined his.

Then again, you're never more than 10 ft from a Yernited fan wherever you are. Unless you're in Manchester. If they discover alien life on another planet, guaranteed there'll be a Yernited fan there somewhere.

Loads of Metropolitan Police are northerners, probably Manc fans
-
Chelsea fans are never at fault -except maybe Hingis

In summary, the best team lost last night.

Unmarked cop car runs down Chelsea Fan http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/article1195354.ece What is it with cops running people over ? Two cop cars with no flashing lights, no sirens and no headlights on, going at 100 mph in a 30 mph zone, killed a 16 year old girl in Newcastle the other night, sending her 50 ft in the air. The cops then tasered her distraught boyfriend. Whats going on ?

Mmm. Scholes, Hargreaves, Giggs, Ferdinand, Neville...? .hardly youngsters -and last time I heard their wage bill was higher. As for converting our chances -Tevez ? We hit the woodwork a few times just as Bayern did in 99. ManUtd had all the luck. As Luke said, Ferguson harassing the ref ensured so many decisions went their way. Come the 2nd half the watershed moment was when Ferdinand went down with ''cramp''. We were completely dominating, and it would have only been a matter of minutes before we scored. With play held up for 3 minutes we lost our momentum. Second watershed moment taking Joe Cole off for the obviously unfit Anelka. I know Cole had been booked but he was our most creative. The worst way to decide a game, and Terry saved Ronaldo McDonaldos blushes. Penalties are shite for a game of that magnitude - replays would be much more dignified, or ''next goal wins '' like we used to play when we were kids. Ended up same as Arsenals season in the end. Grant needs to go now.

Just give them a call

Heard of several people heading for the Shed Bar - but best to give the club a call. If they are, it'll be heaving.

Adebayor: Vengeful Chelsea Will Triumph
Fulham Broadway replied to TrueChelseaBlue's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Too right Frank. That state of mind may well be in our favour -
Bloody cringed when I saw that. luckily he seems as if he will be OK. On the media coverage, you'd think there was only one team in it. Sky having a ManUtd love in, and seem to be showing only ManUtd fans in Moscow.

Anything that starts ''According to reports..'' is usually imagination figments. Cant really see Real offloading him
-
Fucking hell its getting close now. I'm nervous, excited and proud. Cautiously optimistic. I cant lose tbh. If Chelsea win - fanfuckingtastic. If we lose I've £20 on ManUtd =small consolation ...and it'll probably be Average Grunts last game. Wish I was in Moscpw, but will have to settle for Walkabouts with 2 Chelsea and 1 gooner. Where are other people watching it ???

Abramovich spend £61.3 m on Two Paintings
Fulham Broadway replied to Fulham Broadway's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
He doesnt have to spend £17 m on a picture of a fat Job Centre bird. If he wants 'jazz' pictures, someone should tell him theres better pics in Razzle for £1.50. -
Chelseas Biggest Game Ever
Fulham Broadway replied to Fulham Broadway's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
So the moral would be every game is important There are definite key games though - that 2-1 over Liverpool -we were about £100 m in debt, again close to going under, and Gronkjaers beauty shaved £25 m off that at a stroke , and there would have been no Abramovich interest, allegedly. -
The club have rubbished this, along with his agent this morning, according to Radio 5 live. Also Reuters: “There is no truth in it at all. I don’t know why Inter Milan would think this. Nobody has talked to me and I am good friends with the owner, Massimo Moratti. I took Paul Ince there, I took Patrick Vieira there - if there was something on I am sure I would know. The situation is that Frank [Lampard] has got a massive match on Wednesday, after which he needs to spend time with his family, because he has not had a real opportunity to do that since his mother died. He needs to get away and sort out his personal life and when he has done that we will sit down and talk about his future in football.” - Lampard’s agent, Steve Kutner

Caretaker who looks like an undertaker

Agree - all the shit Ballack and Drogba got in their first season. keep the faith for another season.

SWP probably has one of the most professional attitudes of any footballer. Never moans, genuine, humble, and does fucking loads for charity. He would have been told to accept bit parts, which is why he's said what he has. I would like to see him stay, and as a sub can change games - but can be fucking frustrating at times - which is why I'd have him as a 70th minute sub for a while.

Again the title bares no correlation to what he's saying. Good old Sun, always shit stirring. Maloudas a good player just needs to speed up a bit, snort a bit of Mutu or something.
